Norven was a mischievous young boy who was always getting into trouble. Causing so much trouble that the next time he was caught the guards said they would cut one of his hands off. Not long after that he was caught while pick-pocketing.
The man he was pick-pocketing just happened to be a monk Petlamin leonsoul who had settled in the dense forest far from most towns. Shropshire just happens to be the closest to there. When Petlamin took the boy to his parents they begged and pleaded with him not to turn there son in. Feeling compassion for Norven's parents he offers a compromise. They graciously accept his offer, and pack Norven things for him to leave with the monk.
For the next 18 years Norven works for Petlamin, as well as lives with and studies under him. Then one day when he is out working gathering wood his teacher was attacked and killed by deathspeakers. Returning to find his teacher….in conditions not suitable to speak about, he decides to do whatever it he could to learn about and to stop these despicable things.
This venture leads him to the University, Where he is seeking anyone with knowledge of deathspeakers and/or anyone who is crazy/brave enough to do help him find/fight them. 7.0

The men promptly escaped from Yexuhl death camps, Dwarven tombs, and the Greater Shadow Vorkal. Today, still wanted by the Deathspeakers, they survive as soldiers or Tertia..."Oh man, it's a little scary how well this works. "Bad Attitude" Wanderer, no doubt. Gildas "Hannibal" Arowan is also kind of a no-brainer. But I think you've got the other two confused! Lenny if obviously the Face, and Tyrano is just weird enough to be dubbed "Howling Mad" Wystfalrun. Now I'm gonna have Deathspeakers called Lynch, Decker, Crane, and "Bull", I just know it.
