[Basically Tanklock. Sounds crazy, but it works. I have nearly equal hp as well as hp gain in battle from spells and high ac to avoid dmg. For purposes of appearance he looks like any old fighter...right up till he blasts you with a spell of death that is.. Interesting character, but I think his AC is only 16. Dex and Int only stack with light armors, not heavy. This character would get the same protection from Hide armor, more as stats increased. Heavy armors are good for dumb clumsy characters (like mine). Oh yeah, damn slipped my mind. Well then i guess ill just go with leather armor and a shield for now then, i will revise accordingly in a second. Later ill upgrade to hide and specialize in it for the additional +1 to ac in paragon

The One thing I love about 4e is that it scale well. For every player, you have 1 regular monster. 2 Monsters make an Elite, 5 make a Solo, 1/4 make a minion.
So yeah, as soon as I finish the map, I'll make the first post. Sorry about being so late in the day, But I spent all of yesterday moving.

I missed that shields add to reflex defense until I started making another character on paper with a new character sheet and noticed the modifier box. I've been doing a lot of edits to Harknail to fix things like that.

Looking at hte armor table for now it wojuld be better to stick with leather, as wego into the paragon tei i might just spec into armor for the ac bonus. the bonus from int to light armor is far outstripped by the bonuses granted by better armor at the next tier.

The game has started! kmansadventures.proboards2.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=dmshortsevents&thread=6499&page=1Since it starts with an encounter, can we use this thread to figure out how our characters met each other? Once he dug his way out from tunnels that had collapsed long ago, Harknail would have looked for a historian to find out what had been happening while he was underground. Most likely Clark Barnes, since a wizard's tower is a good place to look for information, but could be anyone with History as a trained skill. He's also likely to hook up with either Gabullifax and/or the unnamed dwarven fighter in his efforts to find another squad to join.

For anyone else's concern, especially other dragonborn, Bladetongue is a warrior. Bladetongue probably picks up this job at the nearest tavern or adventurers guild when visiting to town. Maybe he just ran into them as he went down to bash a few heads to collect the bounty.
