(I'm confused as to exactly how much of this action Tirion is privy to. Where is he in this scene? Why is he there?)

/Everyone is privy to all the action. I don't know exactly why each character is hanging around. That's really up to you. Everyone has some reason to be at the noble's house, you just have to draw yourself into the scene./
/The sequence goes like this/
[Characters attend the party] [The party ends and characters go about there business] <--- /This part was skipped over because its only important to the individual player. Your character could have been getting ready to leave, talking to straggling guests, trying to get an audience with the noble, unpacking his pants, whatever. Its largely irrelevant to the other players and doesn't need to be discussed./ [Characters hear the scream] [Characters run to the room] [Characters see the scene unfolding] [Characters react] <----- /We are here/ [Scene develops]

[Ah, I see.] Tirion steps between the noble and the girl, using his cane as a barrier to keep him from her. He looks directly into his eyes, attempting to reach him through whatever magic fogs his mind.
"Sir, you are unwell. You do not need to go outside. You need to sit down and rest."
He lays a hand firmly on the man's shoulder, both to calm him down and keep him from moving away. As he does so, he hears the sound of something clanging outside and looks behind him to see a man come storming down the staircase with sword drawn.
"Easy there. I've got my hands full with this, but there's some odd noises coming from outdoors. Could you see what's going on?"

OK, sorry, but now I'm a little confused.
I assumed that the noble was already outside but now, based on the fact that it never said that he actually went outside, and the post from TTC, I am inclined to think that he is still in the room with us.
So I probably shouldn't have assumed.
Could you just clarify as to whether the noble is still with us or not during our 12 seconds of actions.
If he is still with us, I will need to alter my post slightly. and I will have to have my PC address another PC's course of action.

/Well, I wasn't attached either way. The blocking says the noble pushes the woman out of the way and implies he is heading that way. Within the 12 seconds, he would have likely headed out, but with the intervention of TTC's character, I don't think he's going to get there./

(I deleted my first post to minimize confusion) --------------------------
"Come on, get up,"
Rhett moves to collect the silky woman as instructed. Putting his hands beneath her bare arms and pulling her to her feet.
He walks her across the room away from the old man speaking with the noble.
"Don't worry, we'll get you all clean," he assures the woman as he makes his way out, pressing her body close to his own.
At the sound of the noise coming from outside, he halts, relaxing his grip on the woman and pushing her down onto the stairs, instructing her not to move.
He crosses the room once more, quickly downing the contents of a potion vile and letting it shatter upon the floor. He heads toward the noble's direction, sword in hand as the gray haired man suggests that he have a look outside. Obviously they had both heard the same noise.
He looks toward the door and then eyes the man gripping the noble with suspicion.
He steadies his sword, positioning himself between the opened door and the pair of men.
His eyes shift constantly from the door to the noble.
Rhett addresses the man who has his hand upon the noble.
"Listen Old Man, I don't know who you think you are, but I highly recommend that you remove your hands from him unless you want me to do it for you. It'll make my job that much easier."
Rhett keeps the door in his sights, but continues to watch the silver haired man for any sudden actions.

Unawares of any disturbances from magical or mundane sources The man with two swords stares dumbfounded a the situation. The quiet one wwas accosting the Noble, but the woman in red was hurt somehow.
It seems obvious that the man called Rhett was on the nobles payroll; so he would not be one to mess with.
Obviously hesitant to cross the Nobles wishes he pulls one short sword and makes a demand of the man who would tell the Noble his business (tirion). "What goes on here?!"

The gray-haired man gives Rhett an appraising glance, not in the least intimidated. He also notes the approach and demands of another, but chooses for now to focus on Rhett.
"Your employer's been enchanted, boy. Look at the glazed eyes, the slightly slack jaw, the tiny moments of confusion that are quickly smoothed over. What he needs most right now is to have a sit down until it wears off. He'll thank you later."

"Damn straight! I'd be looking the same after a romp with a floozy like that," Rhett glances over at the silk clad woman that he set down upon the steps.
He begins to walk toward the door to investigate the noise further, but calls back over his shoulder at the noble with a laugh.
"What's up Boss? Don't tell me that girl's world class cleavage is too much for even you to handle. I thought I knew you better."
----------------------------- Finish move to approach doorway, (do not go outside, but instead have a look around using door as cover)

"I..."
Tirion pauses, flustered at being cut off so rudely- but, on seeing that Rhett has decided to leave him alone for the moment, lets it go. Instead, he half-turns to the woman on the steps, raising his voice slightly to be heard.
"Ma'am, please come down and help us resolve this."

/Intermediary action/
[The noble stares (angrily) at Tirion]
NOBLE: If you value my offer, you'll let me pass. I can't be in the same room with that wench. (Tirion: This rings true and also seems to be the source of the enchantment)
[He attempts to move around Tirion as Tirion moves to attend to the woman]
[The woman lies still, barely breathing. (All: She seems exhausted)]
/A heal check could help here./

The carnival remains near the exit of the room, his loyalty divided quickly. The scene was uncomfortable. However, when he hears of potential fowl play, he moves close to the woman and wraps his pale hands around the middle of his staff. He breathes heavy and readies himself to crack her over the head should it be needed.
There were few here that he knew and he would not have his only 'friend' charmed...
{Move to within 10' of the woman. Can't ready action without Init.--but prepare to hit her over the head.}

"I'm sorry, sir- but I value your life more than your job offer, and I don't know if you'll go jump out of a window or do something equally drastic as soon as you're out of my sight- and even if you do retain some measure of your free will at this point, neither do you. Some of the more powerful spells can distort one's perception of how much control you have. Enchantments are supremely dangerous things. Respect them." He raises his voice slightly. "Does anyone here know where I could find an arcanist that can cast break enchantment?"

"I know where you can find an ass-beating if you don't get the whore out of here. Bring her back to my room, would ya."
He will be in the noble's way at the door, not letting him move past just yet and providing him with cover.
He turns briefly and looks to the dagger lying on the floor near the wolf's eye.
He addresses the noble, still looking outside to see what may have caused the noise.
"Boss, that your knife?"

Tirion blinks. "Your employer is not in his right mind. Unattended, he is a suicide risk, among other things. Do you understand that?"

"Suicide," Rhett thinks the matter over and shakes his head.
"Nope, not in the job description. So unless you know someone else who's trying to kill him, I don't wanna hear about it. If you think it's the floozy, then let Ol' Slappy there have a whack at her. But still. She's hot. Try to leave the good parts in tact."
Rhett nods to the man wielding the stick above the woman's head and turns back to the darkened outdoors.

"This situation has become sufficiently exasperating to make that a tempting prospect."
Tirion takes a deep, calming breath.
"Madam. Sir. Both of you. Tell me what is going on."

/I'm going to give the other player until the end of the day to post, afterwards we will carry on. The action needs to move on, otherwise it will become a strain to think this all happened in 12 seconds/

{Sorry for the lateness, just waiting for the right moment}
[The jokester simply watches the action unfolding unsure of how to act, before speaking.]
His first thought is obvious, look for something valuable. Realizing that this wasn't a viable option he stared to observe his surroundings.
The guy with the cane was holding the noble on the stairs and being threatend by a man with a huge sword. Not a good postion to be in. The broad they were dragging around seemed to have passed out from exhaustion. He wondered why but had a few good reasons. The noble kept trying to slip off somewhere, supposedly under a charm spell as the cane guy said.
JOKESTER: (He paused on that before speaking up.) How about we let him go and follow? With twin-sword guy and and Mr Happy here(He said gesturing to the man with two swords and the man who looked as if he was a walking carnival) I don't think anybody would even look at us directly.(He splayed his hands in a non-threatening manner.)
{Speak}
