[Sorry at, I'm here. My other games were slowing down so I have been checking the boards infrequently. Nothing against your game or anything. Anyways, is there an initiative roll to see who/what goes first?]

[Sorry at, I'm here. My other games were slowing down so I have been checking the boards infrequently. Nothing against your game or anything. Anyways, is there an initiative roll to see who/what goes first?] The original idea was to skip initiative so that players could post out of sequence - otherwise the whole 2 posts a week thing would have gotten gummed up

Not wanting to use her gun too much, Joslyn instead decides to close the distance. She knows her sword will work just as well as her gun, though she is a little scared that her suit will rupture from the gunfire.
Putting her gun away, Joslyn will charge forward towards the enemies. If you could call it a charge, however not being accustomed to zero-g environments, she charges awkwardly.
(Joslyn will try to close as fast as she can while storing her weapon and pulling out her sword.)

Blake readies his rifle but doesn't take a shot, instead waiting for the enemies to come into view while he tries to take cover behind some of the hull of the ship. He only has precious few shots as he doesn't have void rounds, and he doesn't want a single shot to be wasted.

Vic, rushes out with Joslyn. More used to the zero-G environment and far more aware of the limitation his weapons have, void-rounds or not he doesn't want to risk missing while waiting for the servitor to break through.

Advancing forward Vic quickly outpaces the Sororitas in the void of space, but realising the danger of the situation he hesitates, seeking cover as his more heavily armoured companion awkwardly advances. Not a moment too soon as another volley of fire flies overhead. One bolt strikes Joslyn in the leg, though not seriously, while the others seem directed at those behind. Close enough to get a better view of their targets Vic could see the squat sentry devices pause to re-assign priority targets. As Joslyn rushed past he rose from his position. Backing into the particle collector in search of cover Blake finds that the dip at the outer edge offers reasonable protection, but as he crouches down he feels a chill - the surface of the collecter appears to be drawing heat away, perhaps a function of the particle cloud. The salvation auger brightens considerably though, this new discovery was a mixed blessing. I've not got my books with my so i'll have to update movement when I get home.
Joslyn took 2 wounds of damage - didn't make the dodge roll with the zero-g penalties. Vic avoided one to the head, the other shots went wide.
The sentry-guns don't appear to be capable of defending themselves up close but tech-use or similar rolls can be made regarding their other capabilities

Does this mean the Servitor should be hacking over here instead?

Does this mean the Servitor should be hacking over here instead? No - the collector covers a wide area which draws in particulates from the nebula, giving limited heat transfer. Futher into the collector there will be one or more locations where the particles and drawn into the ship - a weak point in the armour where the servitor might be able to cut through)

Blake calls out "Servitor, there's a particle collector over here. If we can find a thin point we'll be able to punch through and get inside." He then begins to move along the collector searching for just such a point.

Blake calls out "Servitor, there's a particle collector over here.[the particle collector covers a large area of the hull before you - marked as the darker area on the right side of the map - just surface plates here, the primary collector(s) are further in. Sorry if the description got lost a bit in the middle of page 3] Unfamiliar with the arcane workings of starship design Blake stops to poke at the hull beneath him. The composition is different, not the armoured surface they had been walking across but some kind of engraved ceramic or crystal. It would explain why this area of the ship was sheltered, though it still seemed too solid to cut through. Recalling Vic's slurred words as he awoke he looks back to see the servitor descending further into this new section of the hull seeking a conduit, or whatever the void-born scum had called it. Hampered by their grav boots and lack of gravity Vic and Joslyn had barely advanced 10 meters before shots from the distant sentries flew overhead. Their fire paused briefly, as if re-assessing their targets, before starting once more with redoubled intensity. (combat rounds in DH are pretty short, you can cover about one map square at full speed in a round - Vic and Joslyn have made up around 20 meters on the sentries who have stopped moving themselves - going to be a long slog without covering fire though)

Realizing her mistake quickly, Joslyn stops moving forward. Feeling the pain throughout her body from the las bolt she knows she'll be torn to shreds way before she ever makes it to the enemies. Throwing herself down and flattining out on the ship she uses her comlink to her comrades "Any ideas? No way I'm going to make it to those things, but no way I can keep using my gun."8.0

"If you fall back to cover we can force them to advance towards us." Blake replied, taking his own advice and ducking behind a raised portion of the hull. He looked for the Servitor to see how it was progressing towards their entry into the ship.

The servitor is nowhere to be seen, lost amongst the various protrusions in the collection field. Petro speaks up "those things may need a little encouragement to change their target"

Blake gets the hint, finally, and pops up from behind his cover and levels his rifle. He squints trying to sight up one of the sentries in the distance and lets loose a single shot. [dice=100]
At this point I'm not sure what else to do here to modify my BS skill to see if it hit. So here's my best shot at it:
Aim (Half): +10 BS = 32 = 42
So that hits, and I think by the chart I hit Right Leg (reverse is 83? Or does it mean 100-roll which is 62 and hits Body).
Damage: [dice=10] +5 = 12 with AP 6

There is a flash and a shower of sparks from the Arbitrator's target and it slowly begins to float away from the surface of the ship, rolling to one side as it does so.
To his left Petro rises up and hurls a grenade in a straight trajectory towards the same group of sentries. Watching the grenade fly by Vic instinctively pulls the hood of his flak coat over his face - as moments later a hail of lethal metal shards flew overhead.
