When callo looks back up from the map info flowing in her brain of what the locations could mean for the party.
Wind has already started out on his camel and heading toward the prision. Yet has not gotten too far away but she and the others will need to mount up soon as to not alow wind out of sight over the dunes.
Omar has gotten up on his 4th camal when the cheif realises they needed 4 not 3 and that he could lend the 4th to them.
He chuckels to himself about miscounting tho saving face.
" Of course Omar we could have let u gone by foot no shame in walking the lands. Yet i think we can give you one more to get to where u need to go."
Omar also gives his salute and a nod of understanding the chief did not want to say he was wrong on the count. Then he takes after wind at a bit of faster trot to make up a bit of ground.
" Wind wait up buddy no one should venture out here alone. Its not safe alone and u know it. Don't you think we should hold up a bit for the others we will need thier help. I get u want to get out of here. Yet i sence there is more going on your not telling me and i as your friend would like to know why the rush?."
Varis and Callo what do you wish to do, seams like wind has made up thier mind already.
u will need to ride out soon as to not have Wind and now Omar disappear over the other side of the sand dunes.

(I will always be with the group. )
Wind stands with his camel and waits to see if the others follow or travel elsewhere.
(If there is a safer path we may want to take it)

I suppose that's why the gods thought they needed my help, thought Callo to herself as she reached for the camels reins. A band of stolen dwarf workers in the desert without food or destination and the red army looking for their property, what could go wrong.
To the prison and then south it seemed, at least the dwarves would be at home in the mountains and the weather would discourage the reds from wasting too much effort seeking errant slaves.

Just some points of order :
( Given your all heading out back into the sands can i get a marching order? This will help with grid maps and such.
Ill keep the same order when you traval unless im told otherwise that way we are not slowing down game all that much.
Also im going to use your passave perceptions at this time to save time and to add some mystery what is out here.
Tho i know that given one of you has Aleartness feat so that will be factored in if ever /when ever things try to ambush you.
Also note You guys took a short rest given the timings of things.
So if you wanted to use hitdice to heal not that many of you took damage lol you could.
To explian hitdice is a bit indepth but at its core is simple.
you get a number equal to you lv of that class. If im a rouge 4/ monk 3 for example : i would have 4 dice for rouge and 3 for my monk lv.
When you take a long rest you get back half your lv hitdice back.
Now the book says you get all your hp back on a long rest.
To me that defeats the purpous of hitdice and getting half of them back in the first place.
Im not trying to make game more deadly more that i want you guys to plan out what resorces you have.
Hitdice and when to use them is a big resorce and i want them to matter.
So how it will work is that you get 1/2 your lv hitdice back, and a full 8hrs sleep gets you back 8hp.
This way hitdice still matter, you still get some hp from resting on a long rest.
Some classes have different hitdice so you can choose what ones you spend and you dont have to spend all of one class then the other. you can go back and forth as long as u have a hitdice in that class to spend. When you get back half your lv you chose witch ones you get back.
Important note each time you use a hitdice you add your con mod to that total.
You do that per dice you spend.
Short rests is 30mins to about an hr. You dont get hp back at a short rest unless u use healing magic or hitdice.
A long rest is a full 8hrs so please keep that in mind.
Any question please message me.

I'll make a more proper post tomorrow but for now just so nothing gets held up waiting for me, Varis follows the party of course and I'll say he sticks to the back of the group to guard the rear as they march)

(that order works fine for Callo. In dungeons she may hang back behind the cleric but out in the desert she sees no need)

As the party travels on word the heat sets in dust kicks up from time to time but over all the party was prepared for these types of things.
The dunes are many every now and agian water flasks are siped to stay hydrated.
As they travel they get 15 miles. They know they only have a half to posdibly one mile togo until they reach the mt range they seek.
They can see the peaks of thier destination. Standing quite tall towering out of the desert sands. It was a majestic sight but it is short lived for
Then in the distance on the other side of a large sand dune. Cracks of whips ring out. And agian and again.
The sun is now at dusk but still just enough light to see without needing darkvision. Yet that light might not last for too much longer.
400feat from the party is :
A waggon with sled and not wheels so that it can move better for many wagons are that way out here. Had left long tracks heading From the south west twords the direction of the prison. It explains why the party did not see any on thier track from thier direction.
Its not moving currently it was hard to see exactly why from this distance. Then they see froms that are made of sault beat smaller forms. The smaller forms are being kicked out or tossed out and whipped until they make two lines in frount of the gaint sled.
The party has just enough visablity to make out beings of Salt are armed with weapons and sheilds with a few that have whips in thier hands but do have weapons and sheilds as well.
They have given no indecation they have spotted the group at this time.
What does the party want to do?

Varis quietly walks up next to the rest of the party, looking out at the scene before him. It took every ounce of strength to swallow his rage and keep from charging at the slavers down the dune. The cracking of whips rang through his ears over and over. Yet he had promised to not be reckless. So close to the mountains, it would be easy to draw some unwanted attention if they made too much noise. How best to proceed? Varis glances over at the party, nodding back toward the group ahead of them. He was ready to bound down the dunes and rescue the slaves being whipped, yet he would follow the others lead for now to ensure their plans were successful. The imprisoned dwarves depended on them, his people depended on them, the world did. Whispering to the others, Varis says,
"Fight or wait?"

Wind looks at Varis and repeats back to him in Varis’ voice, “Fight. Camel?” and then the clip clop of camel hooves indicating he may be able to get closer as the beast of burden.

"I can't make out if they are slavers or just wagon guards, but those don't look like dogs that they are kicking", comments Callo, making a head count.

( Callo counts 5 gaurds she can see.
One is in the driver seat.
Two to a side are on the on the sides of the now formed two colloms.
( Making it a total of 5 )
But there might be others in the wagseld. Only way to know gor sure would be to get closer.
There is 16 small shapes at the frount of the wagsled. Trying with all thier might to pull it. )
( side note does any of the party speak infernal. If not all party hears is incoherent guttering shouting sounds.)

Wind will cast Pass Without a Trace on the party (+10 stealth checks) including the camels.
He will then turn into a giant (horned) lizard.

I am totally large enough to be a mount, would someone want to sneak up with me.

Callo dismounts, vanishing briefly behind her camel as she does. Even Winds keen senses cannot track her as she seems to almost melt into the darkness, her dusty travel cloak pulled low.

Varis watched as Wind turned into a large lizard, motioning for someone to get on his back. How strange it must be to be able to experience the sensations that all these different animals experience. The woman, Callo, slid from her camel and vanished from sight. Seems the ride was up for grabs still. Varis slide from his own camel, telling it to remain still.
(I’ll make an animal handling check to see if/how well it listens.)
UrK6hA1Qp_1-20 + 4 = 15 for animal handling
Hoping the beast would remain still and draw no notice, Varis climbs onto the back of the lizard, pressing low to keep from standing out from a distance. The day just kept getting stranger, yet how often could you say you rode a giant lizard into battle. Holding on best he could, Varis remains still trying to draw no notice. They needed to get closer in order to see who was down below.
(Stealth check on back of the lizard in case I need to.)

Wind cringed and shivered and hoped the spell was enough to cover the sound of Varis’ yelp as one of the lizard horns stuck Varis in an unfortunate location.
He inched forward, eying whether the creatures had noticed.
