Question: previous round, I thought I had 4 attacks (2with my longsword, 2 with my shortsword; I didn't get them, though I think I should've, but I'm not sure if I understand the rules. Could someone please explain why not? No critique, just a question. ((It looks to me like you did get 4 attacks))

Athough the conflict seems largly over Girud feels it necissary to interject a few last thoughts in his defense.
"Know now that I am my own master. I choose who to serve and when, but know that it will always be the side of good. I never said she was my Queen, but she is a Queen. We will fulfil our bargain for the betterment of this world."
"As Krysta says we do not need all of the crystals, and I never proposed taking this one from you. Your cannon plan should work. The Queen that you seem to distrust so, has confirmed that they cannot be harmed or destroyed."

Angelus listens intently to their banter making notes quietly to himself. "It would seem then we have an agreement. This stranger speaks word of much wisdom." He motions to Krysta. "Let us split up and find these shards and defeat the Master..." His voice drips with poison as he says the word Master.

"One last question for Hero. I am saddened to ask, but I must know one thing. Did Shilo make it out of the seige as well? He is a most trusted and faithful pet, and I would like to know his fate at this time." Her eyes glisten with the thought of his death, but she holds back any reaction until Hero answers.
Assuming Hero tells her - She smiles widely, "Thank you. He is the last thing I have left of my homeland. I hope to see him again soon, when this tragic war is ended and the Master is slain."
"If this is an agreeable plan, then I would ask Delomme to try and aim for the center of the Glade. It is there that you will be able to find another crystal shard. We will head to our next objective, and hope to prove more fruitful in the matter. We are the ones that will find an end to this war. We must succeed."
She pulls off a feather, and hands it to Hero. "Take this. It is a token that when called upon, will allow a messenger bird to be called out. Use it to warn us if need be, or to send word to Sturmguard if you choose to. I don't know how we will be able to get a hold of you, or see you all again. But I pray that the gods watch over us all, in these times. And may the next time we meet be on better terms."

"Newt," Callian says. "You are both the stealthiest and most keen-eyed. Would you be willing to scout the Glade out for us before we launch?"

[the dog is still with me, right?]
Hero tells Krysta that he left Shilo in the care of Sturnmguard's troops. Hero accepts the feather token with gratitude and says, "Yes, Caelith, I think we can all work together in this way."
Hero thinks to herself: "Hmmm, its amazing what can happen when I don't try to lead all the time. I should remember this. Caelith is an excellent spokesman, but it is still so very difficult to work with peers."
[character sheet modified: dog taken off and feather added]

Hopping out of his nook with a smile; Yes, Yes I can I can go to where you want to fir the crystals and see if their are any bad people around. If not I’ll came back and give the OK. My only question is why not have the elves come over to Ravens head and talk to old Stermy. I bet he and that Queeny of yours would get along swimmingly and we could all work together to find the crystals. Although I must say scavenger hunts are more fun when you have a competition. Why once my mother and auntie hid a bunch of painted stones in the field and forest for us to find and it was great fun to try and hunt them down. So this is kind of like that don’t ya think. Except we didn’t have to worry about armies of dead things and Trolls in fogs and what not. Speaking of which, how do we know that the fog-o-death stuff is going to leave once we shoot the crystal? Maybe we could take the women and children here someplace else so they won’t die if the fog doesn’t leave. Maybe even every one if they want to? I gust don’t want to see more people die that’s all. So where do you want me to scout out?

"If the inhabitants leave, then the weapons will fall into the hands of the Master. I would not like the thought of this Foretress Breaker falling into his hands. Delomme, this is your town. Would you be in favor of casting the shard into the Glade, and us taking our leave? Hoping that the Slaughter Fog leaves you be? I seriously doubt the Master and his troops would turn their atention away from one that has scattered its prize across the world."
Krysta interjects, knowing that they have little time, and a decision must be made. The people of Cannon's Foot are the ones that will be dealing with the hoard outside if we leave. In her conscience, she does not know if she can run out on them and leave them to this mass of trolls.
OOC - Shilo should be at Ravenshead, with Sturmguard. I don't think it can travel with the use of the Vein Riding scheme. She would just be delighted to know it has escaped and is within the walls of Ravenshead.

Newt with a glint in his eye starts jumping up and down with a new idea. One time my crazy uncle Newman who thought he was a grand wizard of sorts tried to make a new type of fire work that would shoot paper like this fortress breaker shoots other stuff. The problem was he put too much paper in it and it clogged. The whole thing just blew up and caused a great mess and my uncle was in bandages for weeks. Well what if we clog that thing and after every one leaves it will blow up and maybe scorch those big bad guys out in the fog? After we shoot out the crystal of course.
