Can you add meaning to it? Now we're talking. Yeah I do. Ehm.. I would love to only roleplay a character. But playing a human cause me some problem. And, I still have some problem to understand how the character is about his Wiz, Cha and Int. (Ex: To make a diffirence between a character, intelligent, really intelligent, extremly intelligent, a genius and a unique mind) And, most of all, even if it is all about that to roleplay, I have some difficulty to play a sentient with a different view of the world, how he think, etc. The characters I play are mostly a reflection of my mind, so I don't have difficulty to play them. But, I would like to try, really.

Can a shorts be done with d20 modern characters? The Shorts campaign (as it's written) is only for regular 3.5 D&D. I think that if someone wanted to start up something similar using the world of D20 Modern, that would work. But it couldn't easily be set into the current setting that I've got running.

And therein lies the trouble. I'm just not interested in running a Short, even if it's to get to running a Modern campaign. I'm not really inspired to run D&D, as I discovered upon trying to force myself through the last Short I attempted (granted, being transferred from my job had something to do with the failure there). I'm a picky person. Or my subconscious is, or something. I just have no desire to run a Short, and therefore no inspiration to get it done. So for the time being, I'm just sitting on this idea.

Already extended the gift to you Udjat. You're welcome to start something up, I know you're good and you got the rules down.
If you'd like, you could even run a single shot D20 modern to both a) Get your players used to the D20 Modern rules [Ala VemuKhaham] and b) get into the swing of things and satisify the 'test adventure' program.
If that would work, let me know.
You could even design your one shot to be very lethal...killing everyone at the end and giving them that heart-warming Cthulhu feel.

I think a sort of prequel d20 Modern game would be fine. I could even tie it into the overall story a little to make it all the more interesting. Getting people acquainted with the rules is an added bonus. In fact, an idea is ticking in my head already. Hmm... I'll try and post guidelines later today. KMan, a PM coming your way about the Forum. Still not sure when exactly I'll start things, but I can at least post info and such as I get it, and get things rolling in the planning stage, so to speak. Thank you for your blessing.

were can I find the SRD to this one? I found one at the official wizards site but strangely my computer reported those files were damaged. (I know; could just be me or my crazy pc going paranoid... )
