I am having to pack up and get ready for my trip tomorrow, so I will no tbe updating the post until I finsh packing. It should be later this evening for me, I hope you understand, as holiday season is here.

Damn, that was the WORST weekend of my life...
I barely got back to Houston, now I am trying to catch up on emails from work, but I will be updating the HoF thread today....be ready for some action!!!

Well, it makes me appreciate my completely mild, inoffensive and only slightly interesting weekend more.
I've been waiting all weekend to hear, "Bow fired, natural 20, crit confirmed damager rolls 5, 8, 8, 21 damage, Sahar is dead." I'm almost disappointed it didn't happen.

I'm really starting to like this character mechanics-wise. From a first-level perspective, grapplers are really good.

Don't be so confidant. I'm on track to pick up Earth's Embrace at second level, as well as get into Reaping Mauler at the earliest possible level.
If I can get a magic item that casts Enlarge Person on me I'll be set for the vast majority of beasties...

LOL, nice!!! But what about Mimics??? That would turn against you easily, with thier adhesive ability...but I am only playing this campaign the way I wrote it. I will not exploit your weaknesses, as I think that is metagaming on my part. Each person has their few major talents, and sometimes they will not always work.
BTW, what do you guys/gals think about me posting a little update in the middle of the thread? To me, it would make better sense, instead of having if/if/if statements throughout the whole post. If I have enough posts for a quick update, I will more than likely update the thread to have the other players choices a little easier to come by.

I think it worked well.
As for the Mimic's Adhesive ability, all it does is automatically grapple. What it does not do is automatically WIN the grapple...
[insert more better evil laugh]
What really makes for trouble for grapplers is Huge+ creatures.

Only problem with posting in the middle is initiative: when the person going first doesn't post is when you get into trouble. Otherwise, it is much cleaner to do it that way.
Are we using prestige classes in this campaign? I mean, thats a long way off and all, but I was just wondering. If so I suppose I should look into that, as taking 20 levels of fighter is a fate worse than death (WOW!!! My level 20 ability is no better than my level 1 ability!!!!). Obviously I can expand the Katan background to make something appropriate, but the thing I always hate about trying to plan something like this is as I have no idea what my character is going to do tommorrow, how do I plan a class that far down the road?

Prestige classes are available, and I am open to most anything that I have. Character plans for taking prestige classes should be run by me, as I would like to tie that into the campaign and approve those things.
