Well, as you may have noticed, the campaign is starting. I will be calling for players for the real campaign AFTER I conduct a small adventure as a test for DM skills. Be warned. Those that complete or participate in the first adventure ARE NOT guaranteed a spot in the real campaign. There will be two separate calls for players.
So here goes...

There are two slots left open for the pre-campaign adventure. It is going to be like a DM's Short, so there is no responsibility to continue playing. It is just to get a quick game in, and get underway.

Looks like I have 4 players for the pre-campaign, and the campaign roster is also full. Go ahead and start sending in the characters once you get them done if you have not already done so. I will go ahead and close the call, for both groups.

Thanks for the responses. I look forward to getting this underway soon. Pre-Campaign characters do not need flavorful backgrounds, just generic if that is all you have. Although the more creative, the better.
I will still be taking applications for the pre-campaign adventure, if they get in on time to start the adventure. So keep trying...

I will get my campaign character up soon.
as for the trial run character, I will probably be choosing a thief, or rogue, or whatever they're calling them these days. but I'd still like it to be UNKNOWN if you don't mind, I like the mystique.

Mystique. I like that name,  As for the campaign, please work on the pre-campaign characters first. Reason: While the first adventure runs thorugh, you will have all that time to work on the real characters afterwards. I have one character ready to go, and the other three waiting on their character creations. I am looking to start this Monday, unless I don't have the characters. If you are pressed for time, might I suggest looking through the DM's Shorts and using one of those pre-made characters as a template? Happy Gaming!!! |

I can get a character ready before the week's end, that's not a problem.
I am just deciding the personality so i can pick skills and whatnot.
The name probably won't be Mystique. This guy's probably going to be the quick and cunning Juan Carlos. But if not him, then his brother Rodrigo, the shady and brooding ranger.
but most likely Juan Carlos.

Damn, I have not received the characters for Celebril and Chuza. I don't think I should wait any longer, so the campaign will begin MOnday. If the characters are not up by Tuesday, after the first responses to the campaign, then the characters are forfeit.

Put together a background and the character. Send it to me for proofreading and then once approved, you can post. I can introduce you into the campaign quickly if you are able to get the info quickly.

Ok. With a few new members to the boards, I am wondering if anyone else is interested in this campaign. I might be able to run a second group, that will be pure students of the academy. Since the first group has deicded to go on their own, as it would seem, I might be running the student adventures on the side. Purely as a place that new members can get into a campaign, and also lean towards the involvement with the original player characters.
It all depends on the responses I get...
If interested, please PM me with a character concept, with small background. Players will be using 32 point buy, and start at level 2. They should be of some good or neutral alignment, and will be studying at the Academy under the guidance of Maximo and his trainers.

Anyone wanting to play in this campaign may do so. I am taking PM's for players who would like to run an NPC in this campaign. It's not a full time character, but would have various spots in the campaign that they would take over a certain NPC and play the character...

OK, NEW CALL!!! I have a pair of NPC's that might need running instead of me doing so. If things go well with the NPC's being played, then I will open a spot up in the campaign for a PC to be introduced. Taking all applications, but I want to get someone dedicated to at least posting 3 times a week on downtimes, and up to daily during Mon thru Fri when I can get all the updates in place. Again, let me know if anyone is interested...
