I seem to recall that it didnt go so well, and might not have lasted a month. Lets see.... where was it.... hrm. Not in the archives. Well we had one once, I promise it was so.

Well, time for another introduction. I'm the boyfriend formerly alluded to by piranjade in her posts. After lurking around these parts for quite awhile (I remember reading "The hammer of purification" regularly) piranjade finally badgered me into making an account and talking to people. Beastly behavior If I were I social man, I would have a different hobby ;D. Anyway here I am and while I am at it: great praises for this board. I have been following quite a few online gaming boards, but the quality of play here is nearly unmatched across the lot of them. Keep up the good work! I might occasionally drop some comments on general gaming matters, but (barring further jabs by piranjade) don't see me joining any games in the immediate future. Hope that's ok. All the best, F.

Welcome aboard, Waterspirit, or F. as it may be. Glad to have you with us. this community isn't just people playing the games, but people of like mind that gather together, most of us enjoy ourselves by joining a game, but that does not obligate anyone else to do so.

Welcome to the boards! Longtime lurkers are kind of fascinating to me (I can't imagine what we do that's so interesting), but awesome to have nonetheless. I hope you'll eventually jab yourself into joining a game, but it's certainly no requirement around here. Read, enjoy, and hound us OOC if you like.

Welcome to the boards. I'm interested to see, did you have a favorite game/character that you lurked?

Welcome to the boards. I'm interested to see, did you have a favorite game/character that you lurked? "That you lurked"? This sounds periliously close to stalking . Hmm, my personal fav was "The hammer of purification". I was really sorry to see that one go. BTW Kman - is that offer to give out your campaign notes still open? I would love to run that one for my real-life group one day. And tomtomcats intelligent house cat was played so well, that I decided there and then, that I wasn't up to the level of quality that was regularly deisplayed here . Probably my favorite character so far. Second place would be "Bring Out Your Dead". Really good interplay between the characters. At some times it read like a novel. Honorable mention for the WLD. It is a testament to the intra-char roleplaying here, that that one survived as long as it did (given the sparse content of interesting things (by my defiition of course) offered by an oversized "dungeon crawl"). Second char vote goes to the rock-crushing half-orc monk there (Ahmek played by ravensir). For some reason his image stayed with me. And I also liked Lins shifty Kobold Rogue (Deidre). Well so much for my interests (and stalking ). Thanks for all the warm welcomes .

Haha sorry about the poor phrasing, I was using a PSP to post and didn't want to expand any further. As for the Level of quality in posting, you would be surprised how well you can post and Role play when you have a full day or more to think out your character's next round or his actions in a town.

You could consider to make your vote an 'official' nomination in the Highlights section of the boards.

I would love to run that one for my real-life group one day. The offer is always open. If you're interested in picking it up, or beginning it anew, I'd be happy to share my notes and storyline. I'd love to see it run again.
