Ok, since I don't have my books with me until another few weeks, I was needing some rulings. If I take Ranger for one level, would I be able to use a wand of cure light wounds without having to use the skill Use Magic Device?

Yes.

Wands and staves only require the spell be on your list. Scrolls, however, require a caster level check if you aren't high enough level to cast them.
