Now that KMans Adventures is a bit more established and has been going for a while, I feel comfortable posting an addendum to the rules and guidelines originally written before the first game post.
These rules supercede, or are in addition to anything found here.
- The game posts will be posted Monday through Friday. Due to the current social life of the DM (KMan), it's difficult to convince my significant other to allow me to spend hours on end in front of a PC.
Other DMs that open boards here may post differently. PM them for details.
- Since this is a forum for adventures, should any member want to start their own game, they are welcome to do so. I will set up their own board section, complete with Maps and characters section and make that member moderator as well. I will check by every now and then to moderate...or even play.
- Please DO NOT post PCs in the Characters section without receiving clearance from the DM of that campaign first!!! This makes things confusing for DMs and they have a hard enough time as is.
- If you miss (3) consecutive game posts, your right to play within that campaign will be forfeit. Your position will be offered to the next waiting player and the DM will work with them privately to get them into the story. This loss of play can be bypassed by letting someone know a bit in advance, or within 48 hours after the 3 missed game posts. (I.E. - If someone dies, we'll understand if you're gone for a week or so. Don't worry about jumping on to post...)
- This is also a place for amateur writers to post and get their works noticed. If possible, please link this place to as many other community boards as you can either through sigs or posts. Let's get someone from here noticed and perhaps published if that is their dream.
- Due to some graphic content and the DM not wanting to be limited to a certain game style, the minimum age to play is 17. If you speak privately with the DM and he/she agrees to let you play, that is their call. Since these boards lack an age verification, the DM is not responsible for parental intervention.
