Don't know why the other thread by Bad* was locked, but anyway, I've been having the same issue, yesterday, but also several other times, and I know TheUdjat had it in my game once too. It's a bit frustrating, but if it happens again, you can always see them anyway by pressing the quote button of the post in question. Spoiler's texts are visible there. In the case of a map, you can copy the link in your browser. It works for me.
Though by now I'm already using the feature less, as it doesn't seem reliable anymore to me.8
EDIT: that, and the 8-after-every-post-issue is also pretty annoying. It means when I preview my dice rolls I always have to delete the 8 and preview again. I'm sure it has cost me several minutes of my life already by now.

Bad's might've gotten locked by accident or something, not sure, but it's fine now.
The 8 at the end of the post is kind of like the same issue when we kept seeing "m"s at the end of the posts. They tend to mess up the dice codes and some other ones unless they're erased before posting. Not sure how to stop it. It might fix itself like the m's did or we might just have to live with it unless someone has an idea or a solution.

The 8s don't usually show up when you use the "wuick reply" box. You have to go into the reply section and post, then you'll see them turning up8
EDIT: see what I mean. . .
I guess it has to work itself out like the Ms did back in the day.

Sorry guys, if KMan were around more maybe he could offer a solution, but I know that he's as busy as I am this week. I'll be making a post about it in the absence area. Though hopefully everything will sort its self out soon enough.

I remember another aspect of the "m's" was that they didn't appear when using quick reply, and when using a browser other than internet explorer. Or at least, they didn't show up with Firefox. Sadly, I cannot use Firefox at work...  |

I am using Firefox8
(the 8s still show up. Though when you "quote" someone, they don't, which explains Bad's lack of an 8. You have to be using the "reply" feature)
We need to figure out all of the intricacies. It brings us no closer to solving the problem, but at least it makes us feel like we're doing something constructive for five seconds.

Of course the driver meant for it to be taken as "You're in for it" but at first glance you've gotta wonder about the guy who wants to urinate on the parkway.
