No worries, as I am sure it will take some time for everyone to level up, but equipment and get geared up to go again. I still have to get the boards out of the closed thread and update a few of the encounters for the higher level characters. Looks like this should start about a week or so, once everyone is ready to go. Take your time...

ok i dont exactly understand what you ment a bout powers, so did you want me to play one of the characters already there or did you want me to create a new character and have you aid me with the powers

Create a character, and in the first post of this thread, it explains each orb that one of the characters has. I can mold that to your character, as the orb would be passed on to your character. Soul, Fire, Wind and Stone orbs are free to take right now. Water and Earth are taken by Royale and Llewelyn.

Darn. I was about to make my character an arcane caster. If you come back then ... darn again ...I'll have to change my concept. Maybe I'll go back to the drunken master?

Well, Milo would be a wecome addition to the original characters. I do have a warning though, as if you are going to come back and play, posting needs to be regular. I know, do as I say, not as I do... but I have settled into posting regularly again, and wish that those that wish to continue this campaign take the time to post on a regular basis as well. I will keep up my part of that bargain, as long as everyone else does as well. That being said, Jolith, you might want to go ahead and do the Arcane user, as there might be a good balance with that. Llewleyn up front, Royale has become a good second hand fighter, Milo can't fight worth crap, ( no offense), and maybe your arcane support will even the playing field. Don't worry about duplicate arcane users, I wouldn't. I guess it depends on what Rojito would like to play. That would leave the Stone Orb, Soul Orb and Fire Orb to choose from.
Stone is designed more for a ranged fighter type, would work with arcane caster, as it would improve those ray attacks to become pretty damn deadly. Can you imagine increased range with spells? OUCH!
Soul is designed for anyone really, using universal abilities for DR, healing, etc..., good for arcane as well...
Fire is designed for Fighter type as well, with the tattoo being a marking of power, strength to be specific... not that good for an arcane caster...
IstarinCale, fair warning, if you lag in the posting and keeping up with the group, this campaign will fail. I need dedicated posters/players. All, I know Real Life comes up when it wants to, but a warning to the others of your intentions while you are out will suffice. Just leaving without word is harder to deal with. So, IF you can deal with those stipulations, then welcome back. If you can't find the time to post regularly, then it would be best for everyone if you spoke up now.

Yeah well.. I know I pissed the lot of you guys and I'm sorry. I can't realy say whether I can post every day, simply can't. Also coming to think of it, in november I'll be out in the army (you know, israeli law..) so if you won't mind a having me till november I'll be happy to return to Milo.. if thats a problem, then I guess I'll see you guys in four years, when I'm out of the army again...

If Cale came beck that would put us over our four man limit though. Not saying i dont want him to come back just saying h has seniority with this campaign so if you wanted i could back out. Now if ya'll wanted me to stay i would probably play a ranged fighter or a Melee fighter depending on what was needed most... or maybe this idea of Melee Ranger i've been tossin around...

Well, with only being able to post until November, that would hurt the rest of the group. Although, I don't want to penalize you for having to enter the army. Rojito and Jolith, create characters with the intent that Milo is NOT returning. IstarinCale, Milo can return, on an interim basis. I can create something that will enable you to play along with the others, and when the time comes for you to leave, an in game situation will warrant your leaving as well. Sounds fair to everyone? So, that leaves 2 months of using Milo, while Rojito and Jolith's characters get introduced into the gaming atmosphere.

TTC and TZS, go ahead and level up your characters to level 8. I am also including Complete * as available. That includes Compelte Warrior, Complete Arcane, Complete Divine, Complete Scoundrel, Complete Adventurer, and whatever other complete book I forgot. Although, if I don't have the book, I would like to know what the feat is/item is, etc, for reference.
Jolith, Presitge Class is approved if it is from the Complete Arcane. Racial Substitution Levels not approved.
Rojito, whenever you get a chance, when you return from my great state of Texas, a character, level 8, small background, and ready to go. If you need any information, or help, let me know and I can oblige.
IstarinCale, if you can post regularly, you can rejoin until you leave for the army. If you don't think you can, no worries, I am sure that when you get out of the army, we will all still be here, and another campaign will be ready to go with a place for you. You can pretty much count on it!
For me, I am still updating the Chapter 8 thread, and man that was a long chapter! Chapter 9 was smaller, annd should be quick to compile. Once done, I will have the campaign moved to the boards, and get it ready to go again. I will have to update NPC info, places, etc, so it will take about the same time that it will take Rojito to get back and get ready.

Darn. Guess I can't be the prestige class I wanted. Was going for Shadowcraft Mage which is from Races of Stone.
Hm .. guess I'll have to come up with something else. Maybe Abjuration Champion. That's a good one.
Any suggestions from people? Right now I'm kind of indecisive. Was going for an arcane caster though.

Hey Fangor where do you live at again? I am currently in El Paso  gonna be here till like Saturday. Jolith dont worry about timeing, I cant even begin to design a character untill i get back into SD on Saturday. I think i may end up going for a Ranger Dual Wielder... or maybe a Fighter Dual Wielder... not sure yet... Do we need a Melee Character? a Tank? Damage Dealer? Cause if we need it i can mke someone who has just craploads of hp with the idea of armor and DR |

Well if I go Arcane Caster what we really need is a divine caster, but play what you want.
Just so you know I was planning on taking the Soul Orb, unless you really wanted it. Just want to throw that out there.

Ugh divine caster? never played one... matter of fact i dont even like playing spellcasters  ol alright i might be able to pull a Melee Cleric outa my hat or something... or maybe a druid, i do kinda like the shapechange abilities... hmm druid... |

If you're not comfortable playing a spellcaster, don't play one. I was just merely stating the class that we need. Like I said, don't play one just because I said something. Play one because you want to.

lol i meant spellcasting, cause it deals with things that cannot be controlled physically, i know i worded it wrong, but that was my idea anyway. If i do decide to take a druid i would like to know more about the Nature Orb cause that sounds like it would be right up my druids alley... probably |
