Just to let everyone know...I picked up a copy of Greyhawk:The Temple of Elemental Evil for PC tonight and this game is the Shizzle!! It's an RPG game, similiar to Baldur's Gate in game play but much more advanced and turn-based!! Graphics rule, very intuitive control and it goes off of 3.5 rules and runs you through the classic adventure. If you've got a PC capable of running it, go get your ass a copy ;D. I know what I'll be doing for the next 12 hours straight.

Didn't know that it was out yet. Ah, it's just one more thing to put on the great big list of games that I haven't gotten around to yet. (see also Frozen Throne...)

How's the engine compare to NWN? Can I WWA and Great Cleave a bag of rats?

Specs Are:
98/Me/2000/XP P III 700 mhz or higher 128 RAM 1.1 GB Free Space 4x CD-ROM 16 MB Windows Compatible 3d Card Windows Compatible Sound Card DirectX 9.0 or Higher (Included in Disc)
The Specs they recommend are a bit higher.
The engine is more like Baldur's gate than NWN. You can't rotate camera. The backgrounds are more detailed like that, it's like they are hand-drawn. It has this new, radial menu feature where you can right click on a character and choose any options. Combat is turn-based with everyone rolling initiative, five foot steps, charging...the whole bit.
As for the bag of rats, I don't know about that, but hey, never hurts to try:)

Is the giant toad still outside the moathouse? If it isn't, it's just not the same!

Yes he is...and as a matter of fact...he ate my druid's attack dog last night:( There's also a King Behemoth Frog outside of Nulb on the Irdyne? Flats or something like that...he almost ate my wizard.

Sounds like a very interesting adventure. ;D I can see why it's been called a 2nd Ed classic.

Thanks bunches, and if nothing else I'll see you guys tomorrow at around 6.

Ya I can pick one up today on my way up I grabed a starter and a booster yesterday at Val. The quality is OK but the game play looks simplified in a good way. See you all tonight.

If you fellas want to come play the new DnD minis with us. You're more than welcome. Only problem is... I don't think you're in the right state, much less the right city. If you're ever in town though, we can hook up and hang out.

Prolly not. I don't even live IN a city, so that's out.
BTW, I'm starting to threaten 200 posts...can't wait to see what my new title will be.
Edit: Looks like 200 is not the magic number, after all...oh, well. Let's see when I reach 250...
