Not true. Rayvynne, who can respond for herself I'm sure, happens to be a female gamer.
Just had to defend that.

Thanks Kman. Good to hear that there's atleast one other female roaming amongst these boards. Welcome to the group Sonnetinkinston.

Ok, so that makes two! ;D
Rayvynne, thanks for the welcome. Maybe we'll get a chance to work alongside each other one day. That would be cool.

Lately I've been sticking with the Shorts so maybe we'll have the chance to adventure together in one of those.

Just because we're as rare as a true UFO sighting doesn't mean we don't exist...

Bah. I used to regularly game with a group that consisted of 2-3 girls (it varied a little), 1 gay guy, 1 bi guy, and me. Straight, if anyone's keeping track. We were a diverse lot. But the games were always very, very interesting... On the other hand, the other group I game with is all guys. About 10 of them. It's kinda neat to notice the differences in how both groups operate...

Within my gaming experience I have always been the only female within the group. The only game that had any diversity was Vampire which consisted of only 2 females plus 6-7 males.

If it makes you feel any better, tho group I play with now consist of myself (also straight), a bi girl, a gay guy, and our straight DM (male). It's like a bad episode of Will and Grace most nights we game... but definately fun.

Just because we're as rare as a true UFO sighting doesn't mean we don't exist... That's why you're so wanted. I found that kinda sad to see no more girl around there. Once played in a party with a girl, it was the only time that I saw one playing D&D. Girl give an other aspect to D&D, more variety, etc. Always good to see that there's some around.

You could find girl who's gonna have the same type of play than them. By only wanting to kill and steal, they 'forgot' to roleplay. Or, they simply play people they would want to be in a fantasy world, so.. rampage !
My though is that girl are mostly going to 'roleplay' than simply kill everything in sight. Once had a Dm who had made a girl cry in her character.
Would you ever see a guy cry when roleplaying?

well, they dont kill everything on sight, but they beat the hell out of shop keeprs, making them ID their stuff for free, steal horses, get free food at inns... you know, that kinda thing.

Plus, (I've never done this, I swear ;D) we're a little better at talking people into following our ideas. Especially if the DM is male and we wear low-cut shirts . LMAO

Sans the recent turn of the conversation, this thread has made me feel extremely feminine. I can't decide how I feel about that, yet.
