I'll throw my name in the hat if enough new players can't be found to make up the numbers. I always seem to have time to post these days.
edit- and with a bit more thought i've got a particularly peculiar human rogue[2] on standby ... or perhaps a warlock. hmm.
(or if we can take a flaw there is a crazy all brawn no brains fighter build that fits into 2 levels)

I'd love to helpo shakes, but I'm already stretched thin. If these estate sales keep coming, I'll not find any extra posting time. I guess we'll see how things go. If I find myself with extra time I'll let you know.

Only play if you are interested. You needn't feel obligated.
I'm hoping that a new player or two will test their hand at Play by post with a short module like this.

You can play in all the campaigns that you want as long as you have the time.
If anyone else is interested, let me know.
I'll close this thread on Wednesday with the final character count and we should have characters ready for a game which should start next Monday or Tuesday.

If there's need for it, I could be coaxed into playing a healing-focused character. Cleric or Favored Soul or Healer or something. Everyone needs some divine goodness. Or neutralness, depending.

Thinking about playing a druid... never played one and not sure how it would be At first level? Take an unusually small halfling, stuff yourself into a rucksack, and strap it to the back of the biggest meanest animal companion you can find

Lol was actually thinking of takeing Shapeshifting variant from the PHB2, then being more of a brute druid... But i wanna play something really crazy... like an odd race... lol lookin up at some of the really crazy races i thought a 'Tortle' would be amuzing, description as "turtle-like humanoids" from the Dragon Magazine issue 315 but since i rather doubt the DM would go for such a crazy race i will look at other things

I may well be interested in playing in one of TZSs wonderful adventures again. If you need me.
I have not played 3.5 for a while. I have a background but no specific race or 3.5 class to portray it.
What none srd races/classes are available? Is there somewhere where I can look them up?
He would be an extra planar race who (for some unknown reason) was transported to prime plane at birth (This is just a flavour thing). He roamed the wilderness (possibly fighting undead). Eventually fell in with thieves and learnt a smattering of divine magic from a follower of the god of theives (if such exists).
Ok from my own description he already sounds like a rogue/cleric type. Possibly hard to portray with base class multiclassing (at level 1-2) but with the myriad non-core classes devised I am sure there is something he could be.

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/OlidammaraOlidammara, goddess of thieves. or Rogues atleast. Unless your a halfling, then there is both Brandobaris and Dallah Thaun. Just a hint of information for your background. The Sacred Outlaw feat (Dragon Magazine issue 357) allows you to kinda show off and combine your cleric and rogue levels. Maybe as a rogue who found his diety then devoted his life to it.

Remember guys, there's going to be no leveling or anything unless we decide to do more of the dungeon crawls, so don't really plan on any sort of future progression just yet.
Try not to dip into too many crazy sources but try not to be completely ineffective at lower level as well.
Similar Wicksy Safey Rojito at
I think we should be good to keep it at level 2 characters with that number.
unless anyone else is REALLY eager to get involved, I'm going to have to consider this a full party.

tsk tsk always ruining my fun you! ok fine, human Druid (Shapeshifter Varient) will be interesting atleast. Will need to know how a certain feat works with it though, Improved Natural attack while in predator form. does it improve my claws or only my fists since i am based as a human?

Thankfully it won't matter as you will meet neither of the prerequisites to take the feat in question. Better luck next time (Rojito, you know I live in part just to spoil your fun.)
