Whispering to Doran "Dorman, what do you see?" Howy continues his line of kidding. It's human humor. The other races probably wouldn't understand. Doran-"Pantry alarm. We might have some use for that magic, after all." Doran points out the pots and pans, and how they are rigged to fall. "Doesn't quite sound like goblins, for some reason. Not vicious enough."

Getting serious again, Howy says "I may be able to cast a Silence spell, let me check my reagents" Howy looks through his pack to see if he has the required alchemical reagents.
OOC: Are we playing with reagents? How much do we start with?

OOC: Ritual componets are bought with a characters starting 100GP. Clerics don't usually start with much due to all the other equipment. But the group found 40GP of arcane componets early on.

Howy says "I happen to be all out of alchemical components at the moment, if I could borrow a vial full I could cast the Silence spell." Howy needs 30 gp worth for the spell.

OOC: Bharash has the arcane components, since he was the only ritual caster at the time. I haven't heard from similar who plays Bharash since the 22nd. There was no signs then that he was dropping, more likely he just got busy. 521

Have we checked the door on E24? If not Thursagan will ask Doran to come with him to take a look while the others are casting the spell. Those rituals are boring.

Bharash has got the components we found and also knows the ritual we are planning on using if assisting helps.

OOC: Does success depend upon an arcana check? Maybe Bharash needs to cast it if so.

Harknail stands by looking confused as the group splits up. He's a little ways away from the door, just close enough for his torch to provide light to see the traps on the other side.

We just want to make sure nothing is coming at us from the other door. We'll listen, check the doors, and maybe try some simple traps of our own to keep things from sneaking up on us.

The door could easily be bared from the other side, the bar is sitting there propped up against the wall. But currently the door is open. Another closed door can be seen a few feet away. Since the door opens away from you, it would be difficult to seal it, though adding a noisemaker of your own would be easy enough.521

Gabe tries to head of Thursagan and the rest, "Patience men, once this ritual is cast it's not going to easy to signal you to come back. How about we stick together so we don't waste the element of surprise by having to come and collect the stragglers. Don't worry we'll be back to sort out whatever is behind the other door. Let's spend the time working out a couple of hand signals so we can communicate in the silence."
Then he is keen to have whoever cast the ritual and Doran and Baresh work together to open the door as quickly as possible.

"Ok for me, just wanted to be sure that we are not flanked once we are dealing with whatever is behind that door. But Gabe is right, we should stick together" With those words they move back with the main group (at least Thursagan)

Doran-"Yeah, yeah, I'll be right back." Doran closes the door and rigs up a quick noise maker (probably involving the door bar). It will take the chanters half and hour to work their magic, so, unless they get ambushed while casting, Doran will be their when they finish.

Howy will assist Bharash in preparing and casting of the Silence spell. When we get done in 10 minutes. We look around in silence for those missing.

Doran should be back a minute or two after you start so we should all be there. What happened to thirty minutes, though? PS. I'm coming down with something, and, with my home internet being unreliable, I may not be able to post here for a day or two.
