Doran leaves the introductions to people with faces that don't frighten little children, and goes about looking the dead goblins. He'll pile up all of the equipment where everyone can see, and maybe palm a few extra coins when no one is looking. Harknail did indeed kill the fleeing goblin
Harknail was some kind of construct, made of steel and stone. The style of the armor looked old, and when it spoke it's speech was dated as well. "Good Morrow my lady. Harknail I be. I still be finding my way, but killing goblins be a good way to start."
Any questions for the captive?521

I thought one of the goblins escaped. Shouldn't we be trying to break that door down and capture/kill him?"Hail and well met. I am Lairaunwen Elereth. I see we are all hunting goblins." Laira is a tall slender half-elf with golden hair, blue eyes, and a bewitching smile. She is wearing leather armor and carrying a halberd. "Well met. I'm Howahkan, please call me Howy. The goblins stole something. We are just trying to get it back." Looking over to Doran "Doran, could you ask our prisoner some questions?" Not wanting to seem too suspicious, Doran makes himself available to translate goblin. First question: "Who, and where, are the elders the sneaky one was talking about?" |

First question: "Who, and where, are the elders the sneaky one was talking about?" The goblin responds, <There are a lot of Elders, do you want all their names? Their chamber's are somewhere beyond that door, but I've never been there. Are you going to kill me after I answer your questions?>. Since most of the group doesn't understand Goblin, Doran will need to translate. |

Gabe does speak Goblin but he thinks Doran is doing fine (and his player is rather distracted by RL right at the moment)
Gabe raises his glaive in salute to Laira, "Well met Lairaunwen Elereth, I am Gabullifax though you can call me Gabe. It does seem like we are hunting Goblins at the moment." he nods in agreement to her words. "It is by chance we have been thrown together in an endeavour to search out a missing mirror for the lighthouse and you are more than welcome to join with us as we explore this place and root out more goblins and undead."
Gabe's skin is the colour of red clay and pure black orbs for eyes stare out unblinking from under a forehead formed from the base of a pair of twisted and angular edged horns that are predominately red with thin scars of white winding their way along their length. A long mane of deepest black hair falls from behind the horns.
His frequent smile shows razor sharp pearl white teeth and his voice is a deep and sometimes almost soothing bass. He talks in a very clear and precise fashion.

He ignores the goblin and searches the room. As he was on the ledge he picks up his hammer, and looks for any weapon or armor valuable on the corpses.521

"And I am Bharash." The dragonborn wizard tells the skinny new elf with the overlong name. "Nice, umm, zipping about there" Bharash was somewhat impressed by the elves magic use but felt it was a too flash for his tastes. "Oh Doran, whilst you are talking to that goblin ask it whats through these other doors?" Bharash tries to think what the elders who could become monnsters might be.

Are there more of them than there are of us? And what do you mean by turning into monsters?" Again the goblin pulls on the ropes for a moment before answering, "Umm, I think so?" She's obviously not at all sure of the relative numbers any more than she is of the actual number. "They turn into monsters," she repeats but then elaborates, "They grow fur and tail and claws and fangs." |

Bharash realizes that while Shifters can become more bestial, but they never look like goblins. This sounds more like a case of lycanthropy. |

"Well you can call me Laira then. And I would be quite happy to help you explore the rest of this place and return the lighthouse mirrior." Laira replies as she returns Gabulliflax's salute with her halberd.

To Sanem: "I saw some goblins leaving from a concealed entrance in the side and went to check it out."

Also, it looks like the mirror was taken through here, and they expect it to make them more powerful, and she thinks there are still more of them than there are of us."
