Definitely a Lurk for me. I'm working out Feats and skills and whatnot now. Female, High Charisma and Intelligence, I'm thinking as a possible background having worked for a Noble house as a kind of psionic powered rogue and after failing a mission being sold into slavery.

Definitely a Lurk for me. Please be sure to explain the Lurk abilities and whatnot on the character post. Though I have a loose idea of what a Lurk is, I have no idea what it can do specifically.

Definitely a Lurk for me. Did you manage to scare up a copy of the book or do you need the full rules ?

Sure thing, I'll be sending you a copy of the character sheet. If you want a good idea of what I will be able to do, look at Deekin's Zain character from Idiots guide to being evil. he's 2 levels higher but he describes all of the abilities (save psy powers that I will choose) in his post.

Gender is subject to change, but yeah, Human Kineticist (i.e. Boomstick). With Yakumo having a hottie to hit on, I might have to go with male. Unless she's an elf. Never trust an elf. Besides, they're taller. Yep, gettin' into character.

I'm kind of torn right now between taking Psicrystal affinity or not, because I kind of like the idea that it isn't readily apparent that my character is a psionic.

Well, not sure if it matters or not, but I know I will be taking it. So we will have at least one person in the group that has a psicrystal.

Yeah I think I'm not going to take it, I might take focused skill user instead.
I figured having someone with high charisma would be good too considering how much of a rarity it seems to be in this setting, plus I'm tired of being punished for charisma dumping haha.

I'm a male. And what is this about hidden talent feat for non psionic classes??

Dark Sun is a naturally psionic world. Almost everyone in the populace has some sort of psionic ability. So, to demonstrate this player characters start with the Hidden Talent feat for free. This gives them 2 power points, and a single 1st level Power. According to Bad* each player will be given a choice between three different powers.
For players that have levels in a Psionic class, they can use this Hidden Talent alongside their normal Psionic powers. Basically meaning they've learned to enhance their natural abilities.

He's going to pick them based on the character's background. So get to work on that.
