Zynthis in goblin: "Sart, come here and see if you see anything on this wall." Pointing to the wall the tapestry was on. Sart comes over and looks at the wall: [dice=20]+6=22 Sart points to one section of the wall. <This looks different here, doesn't quite match.> Once Sart points it out to him, Zynthis can make out the outline of a well concealed secret door.[rand=79166820901446045646040146239102244377081282436854777575070038438]

Zynthis: "Thank you Sart." To the party, Zynthis says "Over here. We think we found a secret door."

Gabe puts down the book he was browsing, "Well all be the son of a demon lord." He smirks, clearly impressed with his cleverness, "Shall we?" He steps in behind Zynthis, looking at the wall before him, "I don't get it, looks like a wall."

Zack, while using Gabe's trick of keeping the book in contact with the shelf, will quickly look through the first few pages of each book in turn, to get a quick idea what it is about before moving on to the next one. Chances are, if there is a secret compartment, the important stuff is further in, and this little shelf is just for light reading, but there might be something useful here.

"In that case, let me handle it for you". Thursagan will put himself on the front of the line, and ready to open the door when the group tells so.

Hey everyone, so I'm going to shameless advertise my PbP game now: I'm hoping to start a PbP game in the new year (or sooner if the players get organized before then) set in Eberron during the Silver Plague (which was a war between lycanthropes and the Church of the Silver Flame). It's going to be dark, and gritty.
If you're interested in playing, or spectating, head on over to www.nyxia.org/purge and register, then say "hi" in the character discussion thread. We've got one spot left for claiming in the party, so next person to chime in gets it. If someone beats you there don't worry, still register and spectate, if someone doesn't work out as a player spectators are first pick for replacements. And if things are going well I may increase the party size.

Ok, I said Hi in the Campaign Discussion thread. I'd like to join if the spot is still available.

Harknail comes and stands beside Thursagan as the group prepares to open the door.
I'll send out description of the room tonight, maybe even a map of the floor.

You're in mate That puts me as part of three pbp games with you, and three with Harknail as well. Heh, intriguing I think I'm going to develop multiple personality disorder. You mean you still have a single personality? Besides those three games I'm also in 3 play by e-mail games and 3 face to face games.

I've got one face to face in addition to those three. I don't really like the PBe-mail format, I like my organized forums.. heck I have a forum I use for preparing for my face to face!

All those games, a full time job that often has me working late and a wife that would like some attention from time to time, I sometimes slip a bit on updating as often as I should.

Map: After everyone gets into position for attack, Thursagan opens the secret door and finds an empty chamber. This room has yet another book case, this one with only a few books. All of these books are covered with frost. It also has a heavy desk which is not covered with frost, complete with inkwells that looked like they dried out but didn't freeze. The desk has a single drawer. And finally, there is another lift platform, presumably going to the roof of the tower.

Gabe, steps ahead of Thursagen, "Too slow." He jests, smiling to himself and moving over to the desk. He ponders it for a moment, looking it over and then suddenly his arm shoots forward and he pulls open the drawer, "Let there be treasure!" He calls hopefully.

Zack waits to see if Gabe gets turned into a frog or something before entering the room.
