Tol
Move a square to the right so i can see the shimmering that was above me. "soul or not i can see she seems very determined to waste whats left of existence. She only wishes to bow before this whelp then honor her own ancestors, leave her and let us be on our way." contemp plain on my features as i exspect its attack any moment. I wonder to myself if ripping out one of these being soul would be proof enough of its exsistence and she would finaly let us pass. [dice=20] +13 intimidate=23 (im not actualy trying to move the group but spark a reaction from it as i ignore it during my statement)
Edit: Changed pronouns to Feminine, Vrak is female.[rand=453920762054622294046767358668152193369362503290241466079372912645]

Vrak has no words to answer Tol as he shames her.
11 successes, 1 failure
Umm, which way is "Right"? K8, J10, and K10 are open around Tol.

Dart is trying to create some space he'll continue to move to N13 or as close as he can get to it. I understand double moves are allowed.

Tol's position updated.
As Dart continues moving, Harknail calls out, "Dart, stop there! If you go past the statue Vrak will have to attack!" He's basing this on his insight, noticing how closely Vrak is watching Dart as he moves forward and how she's tensing for action.
Harknail continues, "The rest of you might want to spread out a bit, but stay behind the statue."
To be clear, The group was moving from the top left to the bottom right. "Behind the statue" is a diagonal line from P6 to B20. Entering that area is likely to cause the skill challenge to fail immediately, unless the character is adjacent to Vrak (gathering to talk would not be seen as attempting to enter the valley). And you're only one success from finishing the challenge!

Dart finishes his move. If the ghost attacks then he's made his choice. Dart should end up a few hexes next to The ghost and he will be facing the ghost ready to defend himself with eyebite and divine challenge. He has not cast them yet but he is ready.

Getting tired of all the waiting Stria goes up to Vrak stares her in her ghostly eyes, and says
Dammit woman, the stars gave you a soul, the earth gave you a body, the earth reclaimed what was rightfully its, but the stars allow you to exist! Be grateful and do some good with the time you have been given!
Intimidate: [dice=20] +13 = 17
The light burned brightly in her eyes as Stria yells at the ghost. Her heel making an imprint into the ground. She snarls yet look oddly calm and collected.
Edit: removed green since entire post appears to be in character[rand=13672321030713164737923826810700818334837082577364132851059016812]

(Barbatos briefly wonders if shouting and displays of power would distract the ghosts long enough for someone to punch out Dart, stuff him in a sack, and pull him back out of the valley - not necessarily in thet order)Events were beginning to unfold quickly, the mage watches for reactions from the nearby shimmers, ready to throw up a magical shield and withdraw should they manifest to strike.

Dart was just getting some space for himself. The ghost threats he takes seriously enough not to be an easy target. By moving to the other side of the ghost the ghost would need to divide it's attacks. So strategically Dart moved out of the ghost normal vision. The ghost has so far been threating people and Dart is finished putting up with it. The ghost backs off or Dart is going to challange him. Dart is growing board waiting for the monster to commit. The party may find Darts choices to be a bit frustrating perhaps but Dart does not like bullies and he will not let the dead bully him any further. Intimidate check.[dice=20]+4[rand=96655478444881747424156449269503302180164493620433190793287940323]

Dart was just getting some space for himself. He has, unfortunately, moved over the deadline - in the old German war prison sense of the word.
Barbatos is mage - looking to think his way out of problems. From his perspective Dart is trying to provoke attack by openly breaking local 'laws'. But then as a student from a school of magic he's much more accustomed to the idea of some vague threat of death to anyone sneaking into restricted areas.

I don't understand the world war 2 reference. But no matter. Dart continues to hold his attack as he plains out a strategy for hitting the unhitable. So far it is the ghosts Resistance to being hit that Dart finds the most earatating.

Harknail realizes that although they still must fight her to pass, that she will not be warning Bejik that intruders are coming. The group has succeeded in convincing her to do the minimum that she must. Dart continues moving, crossing the line. Vrack calls out reluctantly, "Attack!"

The group was prepared for an attack of some kind, but what they got wasn't what they expected. Vrak herself did nothing noticeable, but a chill descended upon the group (except for Dart). This chill slowed them down, and sapped both their will and vitality (-2 to all defenses).
Meanwhile dragonborn zombies and skeletons clawed there way out of the ground all around the statue. Dart escaped the chill, but ended up being surrounded by a zombie and a skeleton.
While the group was ready, so where the undead forces. Only Llewelyn, Striazionis, and Popol were able to do something before the undead army began it's coordinated attack.
I rolled initiative for everyone rather than wait a week or two to get the rolls. I averaged the Monsters initiatives so that they all moved at the same time (easier for Play by Post games), the skeletons high rolls brought up the zombies low rows.
Tag Llewelyn, Stira, and Popol
Hopefully everyone is still watching this forum, or combat is going to take a very long time....

I would of preferred that the zombies rolls remained low - Dart could focus his attacks with a better chance of survival on fighting the skeletons but no matter. Dart needs to know where the nearest point of high ground is. ( big trees or floating land that Dart can get to easily so he can divide the attackers efforts. Double run - to lead and divide the attackers. Can Dart move faster in a different animals form? Dart is at full defense right now. When he gets to move again he'll run around the Tree on 15 N he'll use the Tree as cover from the zombies and turn into a chimp. He'll climb the tree. Tree climbing should be outside of a zombie or skeletons ability to fallow. Tree climbing is a skill that I don't think is covered in 4th edition. Once Dart's in the tree as a monkey he'll jump from Branch to Branch as a distraction to give the rest of the party a chance. If the monsters choose to leave Dart in the tree he'll return to his gnomish form and attack with warlocks curse, divine challenge and eye-bite ( come to think of it can I use my magical abilities while in animal form?)

I would of preferred that the zombies rolls remained low - Dart could focus his attacks with a better chance of survival on fighting the skeletons but no matter. I tried running each monster as its own initiative, but that made a slow game even slower. Besides, if it weren't for the zombies bringing down the average, all the other monsters would be moving before anybody got a chance to react.
Dart needs to know where the nearest point of high ground is. ( big trees or floating land that Dart can get to easily so he can divide the attackers efforts. There is a medium-size piece of floating rubble in L 12 floating about 3 feet up, there is another medium-size piece of floating rubble in M 12 floating about 13 feet up, and there is a tree in N 12. All are indicated on the map.
Double run - to lead and divide the attackers. Can Dart move faster in a different animals form? Yes, Dart can move 1 square faster as an animal because as an animal he isn't wearing heavy armor to slow him down. However, Doing any movement other than a shift or double shift will give the monsters a free opportunity attack against Dart.
Dart is at full defense right now. Just like in third edition, Dart can't go to full defense until he has an action. Unlike third edition Dart could both move and go to full defense.
When he gets to move again he'll run around the Tree on 15 N he'll use the Tree as cover from the zombies and turn into a chimp. He'll climb the tree. Tree climbing should be outside of a zombie or skeletons ability to fallow. This will give the undead free attacks as you climb the tree (you're moving in a square next to them), but you are correct that neither zombies nor skeletons are known for their tree climbing abilities. However, the skeletons are armed with short bows and longswords. They will be able to shoot at Dart while he is in the tree. But at least he will have cover.
Tree climbing is a skill that I don't think is covered in 4th edition. Tree climbing (and any other climbing) is part of the athletics skill. Dart has a +1 (+3 in animal form), and climbing a tree is easy (DC 5)
Once Dart's in the tree as a monkey he'll jump from Branch to Branch as a distraction to give the rest of the party a chance. If the monsters choose to leave Dart in the tree he'll return to his gnomish form and attack with warlocks curse, divine challenge and eye-bite ( come to think of it can I use my magical abilities while in animal form?) No, the only ability he can use in animal form would be his Druid Pounce attack.

Dart will hide in the Tree highest branches that can hold his gnomish weight. Joe - when Dart did his double move he ended his turn on full defense as he faced the ghost. So he starts this round still at full defense.

So he starts this round still at full defense. I just checked the previous post, and full defense isn't mentioned. Instead it mentions defending himself with eyebite and divine challange (which are attacks). Full Defense requires a standard action so it can't be done with a double move.

You didn't go far enough back but don't worry about it. Dart climbs tree. [dice=20] +1[rand=81208406295627369126428028102964042862213216722011449915503617376]
