Ka'lion gently climbs down with the man in the red suit. Leaves the man in the suit with the group to check out and continues the climb.
real world truth as a boy I got stuck in the chimney trying to figure out how our heavy Friend fit. I had to be pulled out by the fire department but I do still believe in Santa. ho ho ho.

No red suit, not much of anything - judging by the stature you'd guess it was a dwarf, trying to get down rather than up. He got as far as the grate and then got stuck, but if he got in then there must be a way out.
He carries the remains of a crossbow, several curved daggers, and an animal mask which does not appear to have deteriorated with the passage of time - a sure indication of magic.

Who is where? I think Vadania and our cleric are still out battling skeletons by throwing rocks at them and letting them get washed away, but I'm not sure.

(Vadania, Ylva, and Aelos are watching the skeletons. Ka'lion, Madaline, and Darrian are a short distance away in the forge)

Ka'lion would put the daggers and crossbow away for later and try on the mask. Average wisdom's are such a pain sometimes. Basically he's smart enough to know the dwarf would not have it with him if it harmed the users. He's expecting to gain an animals tracking ability or sight and he's perfectly happy with either one. Then he'll continue to climb out.

It smells, it's hard to see through, and there is something sticky on the inside - but the dark chimney does seem a little easier to navigate, perhaps the mask aids the users vision in the dark or perhaps it's simply keeping the dust and grime out of your mouth.
The leading skeletons have reached the edge of the room and are beginning to spread out as Madaline returns from the forge.
Climb check for Ka'lion, Init for everyone else (Darrian can see through from the forges doorway some 70 feet away)

Darrian knows his crossbow will do little and his spells are mostly diminished as of now. He will let the others hold off the oncoming hoard until it looks like they really need his help.[rand=82085755025036632037475479301065294557935255579659754109880886972]

Initiative [dice=20] + 0 I should still be out of 1st level spells since I healed up the party, so I guess it's just my Heavy Hitting Stick and a few smite evils left. [rand=5460727996058943780406595172303793873859677139446945522120891101]

Darrian - 19 Ylva - 18 Vadania - 16 Aelos - 11 Madaline - 9
Ka'lion - reaches the top of the funnel and can lower a rope down ready for the start of the 3rd combat round
The forge is 60 feet from the Ylva/Aelos/Vadania, and 30 feet from Darrian/Madaline. The closest skeleton is 40 feet away from Aelos, still struggling against the current but gaining momentum.

Initiative: Vadania | [dice=20] | +4=16 | Ylva | [dice=20] | +2=18 |
Vadania has been keeping Ylva by her side while pelting the skeletons with sling stones (rocks salvaged from rubble), not so much trying to destroy them as to knock them off balance so that they would be swept away. Now that they are close she'll use the few bullets she is still carrying. When they reach melee range she'll switch to her club. Also, I've lost track. Have we used the good berries for today?[rand=58053353987634189379948840942234462649885797873147154841688461602]

Also, I've lost track. Have we used the good berries for today? Not yet. Darrian is holding his action, so go right ahead with attack rolls - the skeletons are dead last in init order as they fight for ground.

Have we had enough time to recover the temporary HP loss yet? Either way, Vadania would have distributed the good berries to those facing the skeletons earlier (Aelos, Ylva, herself and herself. I think Maddy is still at full HP).
Fitting a bullet into her sling, Vadania lets fly at the nearest Skeleton and tries to send it downstream.

Have we had enough time to recover the temporary HP loss yet? Yes, i've updated the status pageVadanias shot clips the skeleton, which staggers but does not fall until a second stone from Madaline knocks its leg out from under it. The rest of the group hold ready for the attack as the skeletons step over the fallen and into the room. Amongst the huddled undead the same golden sword from earlier can be seen, a sign that the armoured skeletons from the back crypt were close and would likely be more difficult to dispatch. Ka'lion struggles up through the tight chimney until he can feel fresh air on his face, the slight glow of the morning sun through the clouds. Another set of bars here have been cut away, he grabs on to them as he works to pull himself up. (3 skeletons are now in a position to charge / be charged)

Ka'lion will take a quick glance around once he is out as he lowers two ropes he wraps through the iron grills and around his back should he fall. Whoever puts their foot into one loop and holds on the rope he'll pull up with rage if he has to. He hopes the party has the good since not to add 40 pounds of weight from armor for him to try to pull up. He did tell people to leave their armor behind. He is not strong enough to lift extra weight.

Actually, I don't think you told us to leave the heavy armor behind (I think I'm the only one in it anyways), but you did note that it'd be difficult to swim in it. Also, it takes time I don't have to unequip the armor now, plus it's my only form of AC aside from my buckler. Since our objective is to escape, not destroy all the undead, I'm going to stay more defensive. Aelos will call back to Darrian, asking him to find anything that can be sent downstream or to be used to barricade the path in order to help impede the oncoming skeleton horde. He will then prepare to attack a skeleton that enters attack range. (It's been a while, so I don't remember if I can have two conditions, I'd like to use smite evil if it's one of the harder-looking skeletons or a normal attack if one of the weaker skeletons.)

"Move back to the forge doorway, we can't keep them in the water any longer." says Vadania. She throws one last bullet then retreats closer to their escape point. As she retreats she switches to her club.

Ka'lion told the party to leave their armor behind when he first lowered them to the crypts entrance. They didn't do it. So he did say it. Now his warning is coming back to haunt them. The GM said he needed to squeeze out of the chimney. Armor won't squeeze so if you want to get out you need to leave it behind. And Walter Ka'lion has no AC defense either. He just spent to much time following the monks at the temples example of never wearing it. Ka'lion calls down. "Very tight fit. Don't try to climb out in armor or everyone well not be able to get out behind you." GM what does Ka'lion see on top?

GM what does Ka'lion see on top? Ka'lion is in quite an overgrown area, little to see without exposing himself to being seen.Darrian reaches the forge first and begins his climb, the unarmoured dwarf finding the chimney a relatively easy ascent. The rest of the group back towards the forges door, Aelos striking down one of the approaching undead as a second stumbles in the fast current. The third reaches the group though cannot find a way past Vadanias shield. Madaline throws a final flask of burning oil into the group as more skeletons pour into the room before joining Ylva in the forge itself - the doorway is only wide enough for two to stand side by side.
