"Keep him tied up. And don't assume moment is a sign of life. It may mean otherwise. One point you should think about. He does not need to be your kin to take responsibility for him. Healers and leaders do it all the time. You just chose to take responsibility for him. I don't agree with it but keep your eyes open. Scar cone. Did the men we are looking for leave anything behind?" asks Ka'lion

"Just horses and supplies"
Elika looks over to Ka'lion, "you should probably leave your wolf here too, the terrain below would not be easy for him and we would not be able to raise him quickly out of the well"

"I'll see you if you get back." said Ka'lion desiding it is time to try the temple

(the temple, or the well? What are Ka'lions plans?)

He's going into the temple - he's looking for the vaults and library before going down and he's taking Svcar with him.

The streets are deserted but Ka'lion remembers the warning that the undead had sought to block the escape of the barbarians from the temple and approaches it from the south - buildings here would offer a view of the temple and reasonable shelter from any possible lookouts.
(hide roll, spot roll, and any other actions Ka'lion wishes to take)

Ka'lion clambers onto the building that had been used by Aliesa during the attack on Clearwater. It's not high enough to see clearly over the palisade but through the gaps he can see the temple door and within a slight hint of movement in the shadows.

He returns to the ground turns nto a wolf and using as much cover as he can to stay out of site qorks his way to the back of the temple. He's going to climb over the outer wall.

The outer wall is a palisade of broad and relatively blunt stakes - essentially pointed tree trunks with fairly wide gaps between them.
(it's a straightforward DC15 climb test, or Ka'lion can try to squeeze through)

Ka'lion barely fits through in his wolf form, but Scar finds his head too wide to fit. Beyond at the edge of the buildings Elika shrugs at Ka'lion and waits to see his intentions.

Ka'lion leads Scar around the temple, ultimately coming to another opening in the palisade for a small path that leads to a side door. The door is closed and not overlooked by any obvious windows - probably used by the priests to come and go without cluttering up the main entrance.
Elika also skirts around the behind the buildings until she reaches the same path.
Inspecting the door Ka'lion finds it locked, a heavy iron-shod oak door with a single keyhole. Hopefully not barred from within.

Ka'lion looks for windows he may be able to climb in throw. Unless Elikea has a knock spell or can pick locks I think that's the best way in.

There are windows, but they all appear to be barred save for those around the entrance and main chapel - unsurprising given the value of the temple and it's contents to Clearwater.
Looking up at the building Ka'lion thinks that is might be possible to fit down a chimney in his wolf form, with help, and the bell tower might also provide a route of entry. Of course the building could also be entered from below.
Gaining entrance is a relatively small task however compared to breaking into the vault within.

A brick wall (or comparable) is a DC 25 climb test, however the first two tests are only DC20 due to additional footholds.
Your climb speed is 10 feet per action, so you need to pass four tests. You can take 10, but not 20.

Ka'lion uses his rope and a grapaling hook - climbing walls is a lot harder. lTlmc5tOp_1-20+5 p_1-20+5 p_1-20+5 p_1-20+51-201-201-201-20

With the grappling hook the climb is much easier and Ka'lion makes it to the top in the short order, though the heavy clank and scaping of the hook is anything but subtle.
The hatch on the bell tower is not locked and leads to a stairwell that descends back into the temple. Elika ascends behind Ka'lion, peering around as if expecting to be attacked at any moment.
