Ka'lion makes his way to the ground level, finding nothing but a closed door leading into the church building. As he moves to open it he hears the sound of something approaching beyond - footsteps, and the scrape of steel on stone.

He'll wait for the sound to pass

A few moments pass before Ka'lion opens the door, finding himself within a familiar corridor as he had walked through this way in his prior visit. He quickly moves to the back door - it is still locked but not barred or barricaded from within.
The undead are restless within the church and as Ka'lion searches around for a spare key he hears more approaching as Elika watches his back.
(Ka'lion has a few choices here - he can try to batter the door down, search for a key that may not be here, stand his ground and prepare for an attack, or run back to the tower in the hopes that he is not yet cut off. Whatever his choice he only has a few rounds of actions before discovery)

Ka'lion has one more option. He'll pry out the pin in the door hinges. It's not something you can do from the outside but it's easy to do from the inside that's been his plain from the beginning. It doesn't take long.

Ka'lion takes a crowbar to the top of the three hinges, working it loose. But the noise draws more attention from the roaming undead and Ka'lion can hear them quickly close in.
"Now you've done it" comments Elika as she readies for the attack.
[Roll init, post actions]
Ka'ion can remove one hinge per round - two more and Scar can enter. He can optionally remove the second of the hinges prior to the start of combat but will be treated as flat-footed for the first round as he starts out of position with his back to the enemy.

"Not yet. The door's still closed." say's Ka'lion SUrJPgNBp_1-20+6= inistive he contenues on the hing with his non magical axe. A clowbar is not the correct tool. A screwdriver and hammer is if your trying to be quite and want to be able to reuse the hinge. Ka'lion doesn't really care1-20

A group of zombies burst into the room, led by one in the tattered armour of a church warden. Elika tries to turn the undead as Ka'lion works the second of the hinges free but her magic is ineffectual as the zombified warden knocks her back with a powerful blow from his mace.
Lesser zombies dressed in the clothes of townsfolk rush past to attack Ka'lion, one raking his back with it's claws as he turns to fight (4 damage)
Ka'lion can see that the lead zombies eyes burn much like those of the barbarian shaman, and it moves quickly and freely compared to it's companions. The armour it wore in life also seems relatively intact though it's reckless charge has left it briefly off balance.

The blow strikes home, though the zombie still stands. Ka'lion recalls Elika's earlier suggestion to slash rather than stab and adjusts his attacks accordingly.
Injured, Elika fights defensively using her wand to attack the armoured zombie while the two lesser zombies continue to press their attack against Ka'lion without success. She calls over "if you have any magic use it now!"

The dagger doesn't do +1 damage - it's effectively a masterwork dagger with +d6 acid damage as I don't require magical weapons/armour in my games to be +1 before having other enchantments added. It allows for more fun stuff at low levels. Ka'lion does get +1 for strength though, and of course +1 to hit from the masterwork effect. Note that DR/magic is effective against the physical damage from these kinds of weapons.

What is the wolf attacking, a normal zombie or the armoured zombie?

normal zombie on Ka'lion he has already hit. Ka'lion has 2 opponents and the wand makes the armored zombie easy to hit.

The wolf pulls the injured zombie down, though does not significantly harm it. The second zombie continues to strike at Ka'lion landing a lucky but shallow cut with it's claws (3 damage)
Nearby the more agile zombie continues to press Elika but Ka'lion can see a degree of intelligence in it's eyes as it assesses the situation, and it calls out in a loud rasping scream likely to alert all those nearby. But as it does so Elika seizes the opening to fire a twin beam of blazing fire into it's chest silencing it instantly as it collapses backwards into a burnt heap.

Ka'lion reaches for the fallen zombie with his dagger but before he can deliver a clean blow he is pushed back by the still standing zombie - giving time for it's companion to rise again.
Elika takes a moment to heal some of her wounds, the two lesser zombies are tough but don't seem much of a threat - though more may soon arrive if the more powerful zombies call was heard.

Ka'lion stabs and slashes at the zombies before him, while Elika comes up and blasts one from behind with her wand. The second is soon dispatched as well and Ka'lion is able to turn and open the door for Scar while Elika checks back along the corridor into the temple for more undead.

"Elika, we need to use your wand to heal us up. You may barrow my dagger while we are here. I'll use my magic ax. I wont be able to do as much damage with it but all of us wont run out of the ability to fight back. Now how many spells do you have left and what are they?" asks Ka'lion, "We behead all undead we kill here. I don't want them getting up again after they are killed."
