We're still waiting for a reply to this (which would have happened before we met the guard leader). (Sorry, I thought that had been posted when Garrot originally asked. The price was 3000gp, and the merchant was willing to drop it to 2000 if Garrot was here to help in the fight)

I can't seem to find a status indicating how much cash I have. Is there one?

I can't seem to find a status indicating how much cash I have. Is there one? I tend to leave it to players to track their possessions. Your sheet indicates that you had around 500gp after character creation but not what you've spent/found since then.
The crystals are worth a few hundred, masterwork armour a bit more. From the sheet Garrot could probably front up about half the value of the dagger while holding onto his own magical items and the crystal of undead slaying. Covering the rest may require a little bargaining and dealing, or adventuring.
I'll have to sort out a wealth tracking page for Garrot and Vadania at some point.

"Is the old moon goddess statue a fair trade for the dagger?" asks Vadania. It looked valuable, though it wasn't something she was particularly interested in looking at.

"If it was magical perhaps, but it is just a statue. I could offer perhaps 50 coins for it, no more"
(the party's finances seem a bit short at the moment)

No worries, forget about the dagger and let us move us.

The archers, expecting to be running behind the construct, are surprised and amazed by the magical portal within. Once everybody is onboard Garrot is directed out of the camp towards the bridge where more guards survey the plains and sparse treeline.
The construct rocks alarmingly as it's feet climb slopes or drop into small holes in the ground and Garrot has to put all of his focus into keeping it upright as Vadania peers through the portal taking directions from one of the guards.
It is not until they are clear of the bridge and beyond the range of it's guards that the attack begins, arrows and javelin begin to rain down on the construct. When this proves ineffectual there is a pause before two bears, each with several goblin riders, rush out of the trees towards the construct.
[init and actions - there is only enough space for two people to stand in the hatchway and it's awkward for the drive if there is more than one]

Harknail I am inclined to try and scare the bears with the claws. What do you think? Where should we position everyone?

Vadania is a very good archer, but I don't think she could use her longbow while standing in the hatch. Are the other archers equipped with longbows or short bows? How close are the goblins (in how many shots can we get before they engage in melee). How easy would it be for the bears to reach someone standing in the hatch? Does Vadania think the bears can hurt the device? From her practice fights with the device (when she had it attacking branches), does she think that Garrot and Lynette together have any realistic change of connecting claw to bear?
Sorry, lots of questions that influence what option is best.

The archers all have short bows. Vadania could fire from the hatch if she was the only one up there. -two turns before the bears arive.
The bears are not especially large, though they could conceivably jump onto the top of it stopped moving. The main threat would be them disrupting the balance of the construct as it moves - Garrot can push through, he's just going to need to make a REF save or two.
The bears have too much space to move to catch them with a claw if they see it coming, but it might be possible to surprise, distract, or slow them in order to make an opening for a claw attack.

Vadania guesses that the bears aren't likely to continue attacking if the goblins aren't guiding them, so she starts targeting the goblins riding the bears. She calls for one of the archers to hold her feet so that she doesn't get knocked out of the hatch when things get bumpy. She'll focus on one bear's goblins at a time.
Attack #1 GTFUFHPYp_1-20+9 = 25, damage p_1-8+1=5 Attack #2 p_1-20+9 = 16, damage p_1-8+1= 3
Init: p_1-20+4 =21
And if she goes first on the round where they reach the construct: Attack #3 p_1-20+9 = 12, damage p_1-8+1= 9
Ug either good hit or good damage, but not both in the same attack1-201-81-201-81-201-201-8

One of the goblins tumbles off the back of the closest bear as they approach, but the others keep their heads down behind crude shields as the arrows fly towards them. Seeing that the bears might be able to leap onto the construct Vadania rushes her last shot and misses by some margin.
Garrot to roll init and to decide if the construct is moving or stationary

Garrot's turn then. Lynette is squeezed into the construct control room alongside him and will support his actions.

Garrot will start moving the device towards the bears. He will begin "waving" the claws in front of the device in hopes of scaring or at least disturbing the bears. He pulls his goggles down before starting, and as he moves the device, he again begins to loudly make sounds that he thinks resemble what the device would sound like. Mostly consisting of sounds like "GRRRRRR" and "WOOOOSSSH"

The lead bear aborts it's attempt to jump onto the construct and shies away, circling to the right while the other circles to the left. The goblins on top struggle to goad the animals to attack.
From the trees beyond more arrows rain down, one of which strikes Vadania but her armour holds as the arrow bounces off and falls through the hatch into the construct below.

Are both bears now behind the construct? Specifically, can they both be caught in an entangle without including the construct?

Are both bears now behind the construct? Specifically, can they both be caught in an entangle without including the construct? Opposite sides - or rather one trying to stay behind while Garrot turns the construct to follow the other.

Vadania continued trying to pick off the goblins before they succeeded in getting the Bears to get her. If nothing else, perhaps her arrows could make it harder for the goblins to direct the Bears to continue attacking. It was pretty obvious to her that left on their own, the Bears would have nothing to do with this mechanism. So she didn't need to injure the Bears, just those guiding them.

Another goblin tumbles from the top of the first bear, who now only has a single rider.
