Vadania won't ask others to take risks that she's not willing to take.  So she moves into the open and looks for a target.

The drakes are well concealed, Vadania has some idea of where they might be but nothing clear as a target.

Scar stays with Ka'lion and waits for the drakes to come out of hiding.

Lynette holds her position, weaving her enchantment of cold around the groups weapons (+d6 cold damage with ranged and melee weapons)

Three drakes drop down into the cave, one large and horned while the others are smaller, encircling the group at a distance of a little under 30 feet and clearly preparing to charge. They delay as a forth emerges from hiding higher up and spits a sizzling blob of acid and Lynette, barely missing her.

Though surprised, the drake is more than ready for combat and it's hide too tough for the wolf to easily pierce.

Just Ylva to act before Lynette then - the two smaller drakes are engaged, the larger one with the huge horns has a clear run at the party, and the final (spitting) drake is on a ledge a short distance away.

Ylva can charge any target save for the spitting drake if she desires.

The summoned wolf disappears

Although Vadania hadn't given Ylva any orders, Ylva decided on her own to protect her friend from the big drake. But rather then charging, Ylva approached cautiously.

Lynette and the spitting drake exchange fire, both the bard's ice ray and the creatures acid breath missing as the Lynette darts forward drawing attention away from Vadania's spellcasting.

The smaller drakes bite and claw at the wolves, though they lack the size and strength to push the animals around and succeed only in inflicting minor wounds on the summoned wolf.

The larger drake however is a ferocious opponent, using it's four large horns to good effect as it shrugs off Ylva's attack (11 damage)

A hit even with Ylva in the way, but not enough to significantly slow the drake. This is the first time Ka'lion has seen Lynette's magic and work however and it is quite a potent and unusual enchantment.

(no, the frost cloak does. The moon cloak had necromantic associations)
