(Ka'lion is engaged with the warriors (who only have 8hp each) - all of the zombies have gone for Vadania)
Scar manages to bundle one of Ka'lions attackers over giving him a run at the demon, though another of his adversaries catches him with a spear as he moves away (4 damage). Off balance from the attack he is unable to strike at the demon decisively as his blows are parried and knocked aside.
[Tag Vadania/Ylva] There are three warriors left engaged with Lynette and Scar, a cluster of burnt zombies pressing Vadania, and one injured shadow.
Ka'lion has 16 hitpoints remaining and will lose most of them when his rage wears off in 2 rounds. Lynette has a 2nd level spell available for cure moderate wounds (significantly boosted if she drops her damage buff) so Ka'lion isn't totally doomed quite yet.

I know Ka'lions almost dead - and there is nothing he can do about it until the demons dead. He cant cast spells while raging so he can't heal himself, he can't run away without getting everyone else killed, something he might do if he was outdoors, but he's facing a magic missile casting Teleporting opponent, this may be his only chance of killing her. as I’ve said many times he needs to be around 15th level to fight demons. That’s how he was designed. Fighting demons before he's ready is going to kill him. He just doesn’t have specific abilities he needs to stand a chance.

I know Ka'lions almost dead - and there is nothing he can do about it until the demons dead. The party is just a little disorganized due to the press of minor enemies and character types - a dedicated support npc who could free up Vadania and/or heal Ka'lion might be an asset if you decide to part ways with Lynette, or perhaps a powerful warrior/tank who can soak up damage for the party.
Besides it wouldn't be much of a boss fight if you didn't have to work for it

Are there more warriors on the other side of the door that haven't entered yet? Can Vadania step away from the zombies to cast spells?
The demon we will fight at 15th level will make this 6th level fight look easy! We will be fighting a much more powerful demon, at a level where save or die effects are common. One bad roll and your character is dead regardless of how powerful he is. Unless you meant that Ka'lion to be 15th level to deal with a 6th level challenge.

Are there more warriors on the other side of the door that haven't entered yet? Can Vadania step away from the zombies to cast spells? No more have come through the door that the demon used - by Vadania's count they represent roughly half of those surrounding her throne when the group saw her earlier, likely the other half are beyond the flaming sphere and the second entrance by now.
Vadania can step away but she has almost been backed up to the wall, there are enough zombies to pin her entirely in if she doesn't move or fight her way out now. She can see the fight getting away from the group if she and Ylva remained tied up for much longer though.

You guys just haven't done the math, 15th lvl for Ka'lions build is 3 attacks each turn in ape ( gorilla form) str 21 dex 15, con 14 minimum and higher when in rage. Once his mechanics are where they are supposed to be he might be able to fight a Balor. Not curtain, but I think so. It makes his low average strength and con only relevant some of the time. And druids can maintain an animal form indefinitely. That's the math and using his intelligence. The rest of the mechanic's he's still figuring out. 2 levels fighter and 2 levels as a ranger maybe because it would give him extra feats he can use. Just not curtain yet which is more valuable to him the feats or hit points.

Vadania realizes that she needs more fire power to deal with the other guards, so she steps back to the wall so that she can cast one more spell, a Flaming sphere to attack one of the warriors getting between Ka'lion and Lynette and the demon. Next round she'll be able to attack both the demon itself and one of the support troops. Meanwhile the Ylva continues to bite at the evasive shadow even though she isn't feeling well. Flaming Sphere damage: ioY42x70p_1-6p_1-6=10 Ylva Attack: p_1-20+8-2(sick)=19 Ylva Damage: p_1-6+3-2(sick)=6 Ylva Trip: p_1-20+3=11 Finally! Some good rolls 1-61-61-201-61-20

Vadania's flame kills one of the warriors and Lynette a second, while Ylva fnally emerges victorious against the shadow. Rather than strike at Ka'lion with her sword the demon steps away and sweeps out a hand throwing a cloud of poison into the room that reduces vision to only a few feet - even Ka'lion can now barely see her a few feet from where he stands.
The poison is sickening but the zombies are unaffected as they push in around Vadania - though her armour holds she is now entirely surrounded with her back against a wall.
[Tag all] Fort saves for all characters at DC18 or be nauseated and reduced to a move action
Note - has Vadania's other flame sphere expired now?

Vadania Fort: rqVSu6fPp_1-20+9=28 Ylva Fort: p_1-20+6=22
By my count it has been 5 rounds since she cast it, so it will fade the beginning of her next turn. Good thing she has a spare ready. If you allow, she could have moved the new one into place last round as a move action after it attacked.
Yay! both made their saves!1-201-20

For the moment at least the group can breath, but the poisoned fog lingers in the air - visibility is poor out to 5 feet and almost entirely obscured beyond but a glint of the flame, Lynette's flaming sword, and Vadania's flaming spheres are all slightly visible in the murky fog.
The demons own flaming sword cannot be seen and Ka'lion can only just make her out as the fog closes around her.

Realizing that her first flaming sphere was about to expire, Vadania sends the second sphere to take it's place while she can still see the first for guidance. Not being able to see any other targets, she then starts clearing the zombies pressing on her with her wooden longsword. Ylva makes her way to where she last saw her friend Vadanai, using her nose to find a zombie to attack.

With the zombies already burnt from passing through the first sphere Vadania and Ylva make good progress - but cannot see through the fog how many more are closing in nor how well or poorly their companions now fare. [Tag Ka'lion/Scar] (Scar in in combat with the last warrior alongside Lynette, Ka'lion is a few steps from the demon) (In addition to the light sources mentioned before, the glow from the book is also somewhat visible)I don't think the crit doubles the cold damage, but I rolled it again in case it does. Most likely it doesn't matter anyhow. Doesn't matter, you can't score critical hits on undead normally
