The group approached cautiously, but needing a light source there was no way for them to hide. As Lincoln was looking around the corner, a voice called out from in front of them "intruders". This was answered from the left (top of the map) by the command "attack". Sounds of movement can be heard from inside the room in the middle of the larger room. Having given himself away with his warning call, the group can find the well hidden kobold on the ledge in front of them. He is laying prone at the edge, with just his eyes in the top of his head visible (three-quarter cover, +5 to AC). Behind the kobold can be seen the top of the truly large round boulder, roughly 10 feet in diameter. The group is not really surprised by this, they were expecting trouble, they just didn't know what form it was going to take. Kobold initiative: nrokO4Gsp_1-20+2 =8 Everyone roll initiative. If you roll over 8, also post what your action is at this point. Map (updates as positions change) 1-20

Move to O9 and attack. p_1-20+5 to hit (warhammer), p_1-8+3 damage (bludgeoning)Normally something on a 10 foot high ledge has nothing to fear from melee attacks from those below. But the kobold was prone with his head at the very edge of the ledge. Even so, a sword could not reach him, but between Bishop's height, the length of his arms, and the length of his Warhammer, Bishop had no problems at all crushing the skull of the kobold sentry.

Aegis is waiting for a better target. 'It seems that my allies want to smack the spying lizard midget on their own' he thinks, his hands glowing with magical flame as he waits for a much better target.

Lincoln is going to try and climb the wall next to where he was hiding (K8), and look around. If he sees another kobold, he will shoot it with his shortbow.
8jb0_vbCp_1-20 + 5 = 21 to hit
p_1-6+3 = 9 damage ( and an additional p_1-6 if I have sneak attack)
Note, If I am next to an enemy, my shortsword has the same statistics.
Assuming that lincoln is the only one on top of this ledge, he will lie down like the other kobold if it gives him cover.
If he did not see an enemy, he will attempt to hide with his action instead. 1-201-61-6

Also need an init roll (to confirm he moves before the kobolds react) and a climbing roll (to get up the wall) for Lincoln.

Beth's initiative: 4A__ECkzp_1-20+1
"Oh, I get it," she remarks. "The boulder rolls down the groove and crushes anyone standing where we are. Crafty."
She'll move forward to L5 and peek around the corner for targets to attack. If no targets are visible, she'll dodge.1-20

Sorry, Slipped my mind.
Initiative: m|FzVXu0p_1-20+3 = 22
Climb (Acrobatics?) : p_1-20+7 = 18. (It is -1 Athletics, if that is the skill instead)
While I am rolling skill checks, I might as well roll stealth in case you need it. p_1-20+7 = 251-201-201-20

Beth sees a kobold with staff instead of the usual sling and danger. The kobold is up on a 10' ledge right on the edge of dim light from Bishop's light spell.
When Lincoln reach the top of the wall, he has an excellent view, especially of the ledge on the far side, limited only by light. He can hear some more kobolds climbing up to the ledge from below, from the sounds it sounds like they have ladders, but they are in darkness till they get to the top.
Unfortunately the one kobold that can be seen appears to have spotted both Beth and Lincoln (no sneak attack).
Lincoln plants an arrow in the kobold that looks different from the others, a solid hit but this kobold just looks mad.
OOC: It is indeed Athletics check to climb, but Lincoln still made it (barely). The walls are rough enough to offer plenty of finger and toe holds, but it is a vertical climb and the holds are shallow. I'll be using DC10 as the base check to climb a dungeon wall.
OOC2: Beth does see another target, a kobold armed differently with cover (+2 to AC). Beth has cover from him as well (+2 to AC). Since she sees a target, what does she want to do?

The hand acts it's the wall near the staff wielding cobalt and falls are mostly to the floor below (miss).
I think were waiting for just Hurick and Elir now.
