" Ya that's a good idea. Tho um let me not leave a trail of blood behind tho for that would lead them stright to us and that would be bad." This is the first time he even acnoleged he got bit other then just looking at it. Also is anyone eles in our group that is as stealthy and knows the wilderland as much as myself? I'm use to scouting out by myself but two pairs of eyes could be better then one. If not I'll head out in a little bit." kamon-do says. I could scout too but sorry thrack your size may be a hindrance when trying to stay unseen by an enemy. (she wouldn't know if he could sneak or just stomp around until he found a fight.)

" Actually I was a scout before I became a bounty hunter it's been awhile but I know I'm up to it. Elir and I had similar style when it came to things like this. We knew a team of 2-3 was all you needed to be scouting. Anymore you run risk of being seen but any less and you don't see the blade or cross bow bolt aimed at your back/head. Dispite my size it does not prevent using spots to conseal ones self. You just need to know where to look hence the second pair of eyes helps. As of looks of things I'm going in alone. And ya I'll do my best not to be seen but recall they may have many eyes it's hard to not be seen if they think we are already here.
My main concern is if I need help for any reason, I won't have my bag pipe on me so it will be hard to call for help. Given there will be many of them and just one of me. I don't like those odds if they do infact see me.
I need a instrument or something loud enough for you all to hear but not heavy so to not slow me down does anyone have one or an idea on that part?"

" O before I go look after my bag pipes for me. It's a shame I can bring them along on this but as I said it will slow me down too much. So back to that idea of that signal I'm to use if I'm in trouble/danger."

Mika suggests, "You could just try shouting. That would be quicker than getting something out of your backpack. Hopefully you aren't plaining to scout further than that. Or we could have either Beth or Bishop sit on the cart to get a better view, and watch for more disturbance in the grass. They spotted the wolves sneaking up on us in time to give us warning, I'm sure they'd see anything else sizable as well."
OOC: Reminder that you are currently traveling though grasslands. The 3 foot tall grass is good for hiding, but not so as good for approaching unnoticed. There are a few trees, but they are widely scattered.

" Ok wonderful let's go with that option then."
Without another word Thrack takes off to do his Stealthing/recon into grass land.
( I'll roll sometime this weekend.)

Is Thrack heading out in a straight line (and if so, in what direction)? Or is he just moving some distance away and circling the camp?

( Great Question: party never really gave him an exact direct course. Only to go scout out/around. So he is going to stay nearer to our camp/ wagon and still be in shouting distance. But he is hidding/Stealthing in the tall grass so as not to be seen.
If he finds nothing he will go with wider cercomfrence. This way he can stay within ear shot of the others just incase while Thrack is looking for bad guys, the bad guys jump the wagon.)

So how well does Thrack do on his Stealth adventure?

For most of the group, Thrack seems to disappear into the grass. But the more perceptive Bishop and Beth can track him by movements in the grass, just as they tracked the wolfs before they could see them. As Thrack widens his circle around the cart, Bishop and Beth would have to climb on the cart to keep track of Thrack, and after a few ever larger circles even they lose track of Thrack's movement vs. that of the light breeze waving the grass.
After an hour, Thrack has determined that there is nothing hostile nearby. He hasn't found anything more interesting than a couple of Groundhogs. Those who wanted to take a short rest are now ready to move again.

Thrack is a bit disappointed as he trugges back into camp.
" No signs of anyone out there."

Aegis nodded, sighing in relief more than anything else. Last thing they needed was for someone to take advantage of that fight. "Alright. Thanks Thrack. Maybe we should move on at this point?"

Bishop takes up position at the front of the group again, uninjured in the fight against the wolves.

( Was Thrack ever healed or does he need a hit dice roll?)

OOC: The group was taking a short rest so that those wounded could use their hit dice to recover. But Track scouted instead of resting, so he is still wounded.

The rest of the day passes uneventfully. As the sun is going down, the group is going to have to make camp for the night.
You are currently still traveling though the grasslands. Off the road the grass is about waist high. There are also scattered trees around. Are you going to look for anything in particular as a camp site?

Aegis look around for what might best be a campsite for the group. After all, the last thing they needed was to be ambushed in the night. "Perhaps some sort of area where we can set up an effective perimeter? Perhaps inside a cluster of trees?" he suggested to the others. "Sorry, I suppose I forgot to start with what I meant. We need to set up camp soon and if we take too long we might as well invite a second round of wolf biting"

The group finds a small clustering of trees, 2 trees fairly close together with a third slightly further. Investigating the area, they can see signs that this area has been used as a camp in the past over the years, though not frequently. Specifically, there is the remains of an old fire pit in the center of the cluster, last used perhaps a week ago. Although the grass has pretty much recovered, those good with perception can see signs of where it had been trampled. It will only take a few minutes to repair the old fire pit, but a bit longer to find enough firewood. The area immediately around the trees seems to have been cleared of deadwood by previous campers.
Tag all, what preparations do you want to make for the night?

I don't know much about best practices for camping in the wilderness, but I assume someone with Survival would?
