"I think I requisitioned enough manacles," says Beth. "I was thinking we'd tie them up and toss them in the back of the wagon."

Mika answers, "I'm glad you have actually made plans for how to transport prisoners. I still have my doubts as to how well that will work, but I will abide."

Aegis nodded, looking to the others, "In any event Mika, we should all get prepared for our journey. Bishop, Beth? Anything else we should discuss?"

We can actually get a wagon, right? I was hoping to requisition one from the guard, but even if that's not an option, I assume it couldn't be too expensive to rent one. The journey is a bit long to make on foot.

You can purchase a Donkey and Cart for 23 GP. A wagon and 2 draft horses is 135 GP. Renting a wagon (including driver) for around town (including farms) is inexpensive. But renting a wagon to go looking for trouble with is difficult without a very large deposit, since it would appear to be a very good chance that the wagon wouldn't come back.
While it is several days away, the character are in good shape and it would not be difficult for them (other than the hazards of being out in the wilds). It's easy enough to carry supplies in backpacks. Though again, that could be Beth's opinion that it's too far to walk.

((Might be best to go with the Donkey and Cart option. We'll be using that and more to transport things on the way back, right?))

Although it's a small cart, a donkey can haul quite a bit of weight. Prisoners you could force to march, but if there's a lot of treasure, a cart would be a good way to carry it. Also a donkey and cart can go places that horses and wagons can't.
You could get about 4 people into the cart. It could carry more, but you'd be stacking people on top of each other at that point. Since the issue is space, not weight, it could also carry a good amount of treasure as well.

What about a wagon pulled by donkeys? Donkeys are a lot cheaper than draft horses.

Bishop will offer what little he has left of his coin towards transportation. While he was happy to walk a cart would be useful in returning any prisoners too wounded, stubborn, or troublesome to march alongside.

We'll see how many of the bandits survive. Again, as well, they'll probably have carts of their own that we can use once we win.

What about a wagon pulled by donkeys? Donkeys are a lot cheaper than draft horses. Donkeys are indeed cheeper. and the cost of horses and wagons is mostly the cost of the horses. On the flip side donkey's are harder to control (in general). Trying to get two donkeys moving at the same speed and direction is a job best left to professionals. The 20 mule team actually used to haul Borax was 18 mules and two horses.

So have we come to a decision about donkeys, then? Or are we still having a discussion?

So have we come to a decision about donkeys, then? Or are we still having a discussion? A donkey and cart should work well enough if someone can drive the donkey. Bishop plans to walk but will chip in with what he can afford to any of the party expenses - he is ready to leave now.

Bishop plans to walk but will chip in with what he can afford to any of the party expenses - he is ready to leave now. As is Aegis. Looking to the group, it seems that they have tacitly agreed to the donkey and cart. "Are we ready then to get the necessary supplies? If that's the case, it seems Bishop is getting antsy. We better not dawdle"

as the party leaves " Wait up guys were coming with you" They see Thrack along with his new Wizard friend. As he gets up to were the party is " So first off im rather smart, it was a trust thing but im seeing bit more now my cover was getting a bit to much in the way of communication so sorry for that. Second we need to get K she went off looking for a healer. I got to thinking how wrong i was in my first thinking. See from a young age it was kill or be killed. so l earned to defend what was mine, yet i saw my kind kill for sport that upset me greatly. I ended up meeting barbarrions and they took me in.
Elir was kind to me and still is to this day and he is my friend. He tought me the value of life and when it was ok to take anothers. Them being unarmed or given up was not a time to kill.
I am a bounty hunter and most my contracts for then city or towns were dead or alive. 90% of the ones i went after tried to kill me, so it gave me no plerser to put them down. its why i don't trust anyone that evil for my own race is. I felt you cant reason with them and best kill them befor they stab u in the back and leave you for dead.
So here is a inbetween i won't kill ones that give up/surrender but i won't hold back on the ones who wish to be stupid and try to keep killing us.
If we can agree to that im happy to help.
Is this doable? "

The group had no problem acquiring a donkey cart. Please divide the 23 GP cost however you wish (as long as it all gets paid), I'm leaving it up to you to update your characters funds. Any other supplies you want to purchase?
Waiting for a response to Thrack intercepting the group as they were on their way out.

Beth blinks, exchanges a shrug with Bishop and Aegis, and says, "Okay."
I've lost track of how many party members we have. How much is it if we split it equally?

Your group was Beth, Aegis, and Bishop. It now includes Mika, so she will chip in as well. I'm assuming the cart was purchased before Thrack rejoined the group, so Thrack and Kamon-DO didn't chip in.
Cost per person is 5 gold, 7 silver, 5 copper
