shields are divided among the four sides but can have all on one if needed. shields die roll to manipulate them.

Stats of ship :
Hull: 4D
Shields: 2D
+ any upgrades done.
( its odd at first glance: if you have more then two places to need shields that means spaces are left wide open to hit.
Just wondering is it possible you roll 6D vs incoming damage like you roll Strength vs incoming attacks ?
That way the cost of upgrading sheild make sense and why its so expensive to add more on.
Otherwise its impossible to put shields on enough to protect the ship well enough vs ship attacks unless your a battle ship.
then well good luck pening that armor and outlasting them in that fight.
Hence the captain is running away and not fighting that ship.
Also Im not sure anyone has the starship transport sheilds skill.)

Also Im not sure anyone has the starship transport sheilds skill.) most times you would protect fore and aft (front and back) debris particles would erode your ship over time and enemy attacks. two more shield generators would cost 3k credits

TECH:star ship shields on success you roll shields and hull on the side of ship taking damage. if it is a side with no shielding available use hull only and you can change shields after damage roll but not right when attack is coming in on unprotected side. (Reminder to crew 3k to add the emitters to get shields on all 4 sides. )

Hela repeats the message through the comms. Whatever a worldship was it seemed like a good idea to get to the engine bay before they encountered it. Since Mirax is hanging on to Hela, Mirax is also going to the engine room...

" Holy #/&*. Evade them both then, we are not crashing and dieing today, not today. Send a distress call to the jedi counsel asap not on our channels but by any means. They need to know what is about to happen to two planets and our current mission is compermised because of it and a world ship.

Helas pace slows as the ship lurches, Mirax noticing that she is taking care to plant each foot before raising the next as the magnetic seals in her boot fight against the strain.
The engine room is an alarming shade of red to the small jedis eyes as dials and lights indicate the ship is being pushed beyond its safe limits, and Hela sets about re-routing cables and adjusting valves as the ship around them creeks against the force of the newly fitted engines.
