Romar -
Climbing onto the giant bird's back, you couldn't be happier to be leaving this place of ruin and pain. With a few flaps of his great wings, the bird lifts into the air and you find yourself buffered from the city below by a layer of puffy white clouds. A few more lifts and the sun begins to peak over majestic mountains of insubstantial fluff.
Avyant levels out and begins gliding, his feathers ruffling in the faint breeze. As the day passes between the slow beats of the bird's wings, you watch as the clouds below give to ranges of mountains, trees and even a small bay where a village of fishermen return with the days catch.
By the setting of the sun, you find yourself circling over the familar range of mountains where the Hidden City can be found. For the first time this day, Avyant looks over this shoulder and then to the ground below, waiting for instruction; as if to say 'You've brought me here, now what?

All Others -
Mordrock slowly gathers himself, wrapping what remains of a white sheet around his now lithe body. When he stands, he still moves with an awkward grace, his body not used to being a full three feet taller than it once was. Still, the determined little creature inside of him forces that familar wry smile and he moves to Krysta's side once more.
As he stands next to her, he of course holds his body rigid, flexing newfound muscles and grunting as though he were warty and green once more.
"Maybe Mordrock not so ugly huh?" He gives a playful shoulder-shove to the warrior and nearly falls over doing it. "So what happened? 'Master' not dead? Did you guys screw up?"
Before you can comment on how it has nothing to do with your abilities to fight, Adolpho speaks up.
"It has nothing to do with them Mordrock, there is more to 'The Master' than most of us could have foreseen." Ever the tactician, Adolpho moves to the planning table and gathers a few wooden pieces. "We know the tower is here, dead center of the city. We know that the Queen should have defenses in place to not allow any vein-riding directly into her city so we shall have to scour the walls to look for an entrance."
He begins moving the figures around the edges of the circular city, imitating searching and walking. He hops some of the pieces over a hypothetical hole in the wall.
"I'm certain Sturmguard will lend whatever troops you may desire, but honestly, speaking as a military man...subterfuge is key here. We do not want to declare war on Astoril, just her power hungry queen."
"If we can kill her and destroy the device, peace should prevail and we can focus on finding the power source for 'The Master'. We can ill afford to face two fronts of battle so I say you take as few people into the city as you can."
He moves the wooden figures to the central tower.
"Now, get to the tower however you can. Maybe with Mordrock's new form, you can get closer than you might have ever been able to, but it will take luck. Once you get inside, work your way to the top of the tower quickly and kill the queen...or at the very least, capture her."
You look to the little wooden city and the figures surrounding the wooden tower; it all looks so easy. You imagine the reality of this plan is far more dangerous. Adolpho indicates he is finished and waits for more comments or new ideas. Mordrock, as he would have a week ago, comments in his usual wit.
"We can eat first right?"
