{Some kind of Slow spell? No. You're totaly in the wrong direction} {And... I cant tell you who cast it, can I? Ask him ;D } You stand in the fortress. A huge burning rock stands in the air above your heads, aimed at the center of the courtyard. Hundereds of soldiers stand frozen, except one. A woman in a dark plate armor and a heavy mace looks around confused. {Hiya! Thats you Fangor!} Le'Findel motions Adelia to come closer. "Well. I have a question to you all... You up for a little mission? See, those Celestials outside are going to rip us to shreds... And, well, I have an idea how to save us all.. But you have to agree first." He looks at you for a second and adds, "Oh, and you mercs... Don't expect payment for that."He grins, "Oh... You dont get payed for it. So, you agree?""I must warn you though, it's gonna be dangerous."

"First I belive that since you won't pay us gold, you'll have to pay us with information. Here are the things I realy want to know now, and I belive my companions will ask some other questions: First, how did you do that slow motion spell? How did this war begin? Why aren't you going to pay us for your special thing? and last but not least, before I agree I must know what you are planning."

Anyone else making such a proposal would instantly feel Abbar's dagger at his throat, but still the admiration for this elven commander is strong within Abbar. How could he refuse anyway? They're all doomed otherwise.
"Mighty commander Le'Findel, you have stunned me with your previous display of greatness. As a result, you are one of the very few who have ever gained the favor of Abbarehetta Raemorazjadi, descendant of a great line of mighty warriors and chiefs. For that, I shall accept your offer, and set aside the simple mather of wealth. What is it you wish me to do?"

The Elf grins.
"How did I do it? Well, if I told you, that wouldnt be much of a secret, would it?"
"Err.. How did it begin? Did you live under a rock? The Master invaded this place and the goodies resisted." He looks at Muradin with pity. "Oh well, but you're a dwarf, so I guess it's ok."
"If I'd tell you, you wouldnt agree." He wide smile streches on his skinny face.
He turns to Abbar.
"That's good. Just, could you take your lips of my ass for some time? I hate people who do that."

Glancing around the area, and seeing the elf and a group of various adventurers follow, Adelia reluctantly goes over to Le'Findel. At the offer of the mission, she looks around, knowing that staying here would surely be worse than going out and meeting death head on. "What the hell, it's not like staying here is gonna help anyways. Better to go out there and kill some of those goodies than wait here for them to smother us." OOC - She really needs some sleep. Her hair is a mess!!! LOL

Muradin thinks for a second and respond "HEY! you didn't answer any of my questions! I asked how did the goodies get this far to the fort, not how the war with teh goodies began! and I promise I'll agree after you'll tell me the plan and tell my why no gold for this mission!" - He said it in one breath. Then Muradin turn to abbar and begin to open is mouth to say something, but... he doesn't.

Seeing that these guys are obviously not ones to just step up to the challenge, Adelia simply waits. She then realizes something and says, "When you get them to agree, let me know. I have things to attend to instead of these guys waiting to debate with you."
She then turns her attention to the fallen grey creature, and goes to remove all his belongings that she can use. The daggers, the potions, and whatever else he had that she can carry/use.
Once done, she returns to the group, who is still debating on payment and talks of what magic this is.

mmm... this elf shows no grace, totally no style at all... All he can do is barking commands all over, and here I thought it was a worthy commander. I know he has the power but that is not all it takes to inspire Abbarehetta's loyalty. Even the barbarian chiefs had more style then this anti-elf. Abbar's mind goes raging as he thinks of the elf who just stupidly rejected his true loyalty. Well, then I'll just have to descend to his level of communication capability, he thinks, before he says:
"Your elven ass smells like that of an orc so I wouldn't dare reaching out for it even with a ten foot pole. If it wasn't for the situation around us I would have taken that insult as a refusal of my service, but for now I'll join your ranks if you still dare have me cover your ass..."
He hears Adelia and turns to her. "Ah, I would have thought this place was totally forsaken from intelligent life but I see I'm wrong. Indeed this discussion is foolish and we should stop it. We ALL have better things to do, with a siege going on and all that."

Again, Ahrd is content with standing at the edge of the group, keeping his silence and wait for things to actually happen.
