Physical Description: Often looking more like a pile of ragged dirt and roots than a gnome, Glim prefers to be as close to his beloved earth as possible. He refuses to wear anything not of the earth itself. This includes woven clothing and metal. He prefers stone, bark and dirt to anything. When one can see his eyes peering out from behind dirty eyelids, they are described as amythyst in color. His true hair color is unkown.
Background: Glim is often described in one word...strange. He wanders the edges of town and civilization as he does not prefer to be in them, seeking gems of all sizes shapes and colors. He feels that the key to true healing comes from the earth and all its facets...mainly the gems that he collects. He does feel that some plants have healing properties, but they must be rare plants. He refuses to bathe citing natural reasons which often estranges him from the rest of the world. He came to the academy seeking a way to find more gems and will always seek to trade his reward for the missions for precious gems.
