Physical Description: Omar is dark skinned for a human, so much so that some mistake him for a drow. His brown eyes often seem deep in thought or contemplation. He has no hair, preferring to go bald. There are faint traces of ceremonial tattoos and scarring under his armor and clothing.
Background: Most people don't know this, but Omar was actually raised by a small group of gnolls that lived near the coastal town he was born in. After a raid in which the infant Omar survived, he was taken in by a group of sympathetic gnolls that treated him like a son. He grew up in their customs and ways showing exceptional ability to track and find his foes by scent unlike other humans he met after he left his adoptive parents. He joined the academy for riches and experience...perhaps to one day rebuild his birthtown and live there with his gnoll parents.
