Physical Description: Iris is an attractive member of the halfling race.Her soft brown hair is often pulled tightly into a ponytail behind her head. Her gentle features are enhanced by her green eyes and light-toned skin. She bears several colorful tattoos that she proudly displays when wearing her monk garb.
Since being burned by the acid of a Gelatinous Cube Iris’ skin has never been the same. She is now completely bald, with no hair on her body (including eyebrows and the like). Although she’s changed physically her attitude is the same, and she sees this as an opportunity to get more tattoos since she’s got more free skin.
Background: Iris comes from a long line of monks in her family. Iris and her father would spar in between doing the work duties around the temple that she learned her skills in. Her mother would practice feats of dexterity with her which mainly was composed of her mother throwing dishes at her and having to catch them blindfolded. Iris enjoys the sense of self she obtains from being a monk and the ability to center and calm herself with little more than a thought. She is calm in all situations and rarely loses her temper. She joined the academy in hopes of earning the skills and experience to be able to finally beat her father in one of their infamous sparing matches.
