Timara, Sylver, Remi
Sylver and Devon prepare to push in the door while Timara attempts to hold it shut
Sylver bull rush attempt[dice=20](2+8=10)
Devon assist[dice=20](8+1=fail)
Defender[dice=20] (13+mod beats a 10 in my book)
Outside Sylver places his huge hands upon the door and begins to push. However, his new form seems to be a bit more unweildy than he had expected, as large booted feet begin to slip out from under him in the wet grass.
Devon moves in to help but is thrown off by Sylver's unsteadiness as he too falls victim to the rain soaked ground.
Both warriors nearly tumble to the ground as their hands slide from the door
And against all odds, Timara manages to keep the door shut, hearing a bit of chaos insuing outside, groaning voices and clanking armor. No doubt they will be back for more, but they would have to pick themselves up first.
----------------
KAITO
Approaching the front hall, the direction in which the rogue heard the loud noise, Kaito draws open the curtain and peers into the hallway where he spots Timara bracing the front door, holding it closed with all of her might, a strained expression upon her face.
----------------------------------
INSIDE
Melgrin laughs and shakes his head as Damascus speaks.
"You want for many things, Holy Man, Though I wonder, what do you truthfully desire." The gremlin moves foward, keeping at the cleric's heels.
Plai and Girin move foward as well, preparing to see what exactly they were getting themselves into now.
Melgrin sighs.
"For now I suppose I feel kind enough to give you your archer."
The fey creature snaps its fingers fingers.
---------------------------
TIMARA
As the scout stands ready to hold the door closed one more time, her mind becomes clouded and the familiar voice can be heard.
Come now, to find your half elven companion. Take the falchion which he wields and hand it over to no one.
Timara now realizes that she had done well in her task to guard the door. No one had entered and her loot was safe. Now she would have to protect Damascus's sword, or perhaps protect Damascus from his sword.
She will have to abandon her post.
OUTSIDE
Sylver and Devon attempt to rush the door once more. They prepare themselves and head full force for it.
This time there is no resistance whatsoever and the two nearly tumble over one another as the wood swings open to reveal the darkened hallway, the female scout having turned her back on the situation and the silver haired rogue elf standing at the far end of the hallway.
Sylver, a refresher on squeezing if you plan to enter without first dismissing your spell
-------------------
KAITO
As Kaito watch Timara, she seems to lose interest in holding shut the door, opting for some other route of action. He quickly gets the feeling that the scout is not acting of her own free will. Perhaps she is the victim of some magical mind effect.
As he watches, the door is swiftly flung opened and the three members of the other party stand outside in the darkness, though the elf seems to have added on a bit of extra height and weight. Another who may be under the effects of magic.
(made an assumption that Kaito wouldn't get involved in holding the door, hope that's OK)
--------------------------------
Damascus, Plai
As the cleric moves into the dining room, some more noise can be heard coming from the front of the house. Unfortunately, a thick curtain hangs in the doorway, and Kaito's body blocks the majority of the view anyway.
Damascus attempts to follow the man, who promptly takes a seat at the large table beside the beautiful nymph
Sylphine cringes, her discomfort obvious, but she says nothing and dares not move. Her amber eyes shift from the human at her side to Sando and do not seem to cease moving back and forth.
"What are you doing back here?" The satyr demands when he spins on his hooves to face Damascus and Plai.
"Do not mind Sando, he is upset because his little plan was foiled. Though I must give him credit, as it is certainly due. I am surprised that he managed to keep it up this long. He must surely take me for the very fool which he holds in his hand. And alas, I must admit that you have done well my friend. I could not have done better myself. Now let us wait for a moment, that everyone may join us. We will place our cards on the table and test our luck at getting what we want."
Melgrin stands still, his ears perked up as if waiting for something to happen.
Damascus, seeing the man clearly now, you realize that he does in fact wear a necklace. It is thin and golden. quite plain in style. the cleric highly doubts that this is the necklace which he is looking for as it is far from the gaudy jewel covered chain which was displayed for him in the drawing earlier in the day.

Squeezing
In some cases, you may have to squeeze into or through an area that isn’t as wide as the space you take up. You can squeeze through or into a space that is at least half as wide as your normal space. Each move into or through a narrow space counts as if it were 2 squares, and while squeezed in a narrow space you take a -4 penalty on attack rolls and a -4 penalty to AC.
