{sorry guys, i need to step up the posting....i havent the time or energy for 5 updates a week but i figure 3 or 4 is feasable for the time being}
Gwen and Lok-Mar
Lok-Mar lashes out with his axe making a satisfying *KONG* but his weapon merely strikes the Hobgoblin's shield leaving a large dent. It does however stagger under the blow, surprised at the opposition.
Del recovers himself, moves 5' forward and pulls a shortsword from his belt and stabs at the attacking Hobgoblin.
[dice=20] +2
The Hobgoblin sways letting the blade strike ineffectively against its armour. It keep its attention firmly focused on Gwen. Grinning, it hacks at the ranger.
[dice=20] +4 = AC 19 (a hit accoring to the character sheet)
[dice=8] +2 damage {4 damage}
You twist just in time to avoid the worst of the blow but it draws a trickle of blood that begins to wet your armour.
The other hobgoblins attack Lok-Mar hoping to drop him quickly.
[dice=20] +4
[dice=20] +4
Lok-Mar parries the first blow but the second is good and catches the dwarf on his shoulder drawing blood.
[dice=8]+2 damage
Gwen drops his bow and draws a his hooked hammer with one fluid motion. Swinging it about, he aims for the ankles trying to trip his opponent.
{similar, you have your attack bonus as +5 for both attacks of the double handed weapon. I calculate it as +4/+4 for two handed fighting. If i'm wrong though, let me know }
Gwen suceeds his attack role and hooks the ankle of the hobgoblin and pulls for all he's worth
Opposed strength check
[dice=20] +2 vs 8 {Gwen looses}
Trip attempt for the hobgoblin
[dice=20] +2 vs 5 {hobgoblin wins}
Gwen drops the hammer avoiding the trip leaving himself unarmed....
Initiative: Lok Mar, Del, Hobgoblins, Gwen

Grimm and Kaz watch in silence as Saranac reels off some info neither was aware of. t the mention of Ochre robes et al., Elmo's face drops and becomes one of deep concern. He closes the door behind you and walks back to his desk. Sighing, he records Saranac's words into his ledger and looks up at you all
"If you are right, cultists of the old temple have come back to the moathouse to reclaim what they once lost. This is indeed very worrying. I will need to confirm this with Yether then if this is true, i will need to alert Lord Rufus and Lord Burne and arrange the defenses. Word must then go out to the surrounding areas to gather our forces. They will attack. Its just knowing when they plan to do so"
