{Well, I'll keep going so long as there is interest from players. I'll see what I can do about getting others involved. For now, we'll have the others tag along as 'dummies', mindless people that will help when they can.}
Those Germans that do heed the call for surrender prove to be fairly docile. They toss their weapons to the ground and throw up their arms, their eyes darting back and forth to the once-giant and the man with the amber blade...neither of whom they wish to anger. Those that do not stay behind run off into the night, their distant forms occasionally silhouetted by a mortar shell in the distance. They will also no longer be a problem.
Billy grabs his man by the arm and drags him over to the others. The German man is beyond pertrified, so much so that he cannot stop shaking. [Listen Check] Billy can barely hear the man whisper it under his breath, but the man says something about Obermensch...
Daniel keeps the rounded Germans in a tight circle, stripping them of weapons and gear. He manages to procure a few grenades (8) to replace the Captain's used stash. Just looking around the damaged camp, Daniel is certain there is a radio in one of the officer's tent if not already in the trucks nearby. This appears to be well out-fitted unit so supplies should not hard to find here...assuming they've survived the assault.
Stone backs the truck to the fence and hops out, just as Jeremy and Clemente climb out of the top of the tank, unable to get it started. The young leader of the 81st stops when he sees Stone and places his hand on his sidearm.
"Captain...?!? What in the hell was that!?" The man is confused and unsure of allegiances. One minute he discussing strategy with you in the dark, the next he's watching a fifteen foot man tear down a fence, another popping in and out of the air leaving behind swirling purple portals.
It is just to much to make sense of right now.
The man doesn't raise his weapon but he keeps his thumb resting on the grip when he calls out again. "You wanna tell me what the hell is going on?"
Some of the other men from the 81st begin to descend towards the camp. They too look alarmed and confused. A group of them breaks off to investigate the swirling portal left behind by Clemente's jump through space. A few others look to Billy as if waiting for him to grow into a giant again.
The 81st has become curious and wants to know more about your powers...
