SEA GREEN
Those on/near the wall -
Madrigal finally finds the courage to stand, although he never takes his eyes off the lumbering giants just beyond the walls. More than once they eye a nearby boulder too greedily for his comfort.
"They know the name Sandstrider little one." Madrigal nods at Ella. "The true-blooded giants of my line are something of a legend to other giants. They are long-standing nomadic warriors that have always held a position of respect among other giants."
"They even know I am a Sandstrider...even if only half of me is."
The way the Stone giants eyes the conversation on the wall with a leer, you'd guess there wasn't an ounce of respect held for Madrigal. Whatever happened in the Giant's sacred lands has really got them upset beyond comprehension. Madrigal finally gets the sense to usher you all down from the wall and backs towards the ruined inner city.
"As for where Girud might have hidden something, I cannot offer much. Girud was more at home in the desert and wandering than he was here in the city. He would spend weeks on end out there, training his recruits and fledling Sandstriders."
"I can tell you that Girud had unhindered access to the sacred lands of the giants, he earned this privilege after forging relations with them and earning their respect."
Madrigal pauses for a moment.
"If I were Girud and wanted to hide something, I would certainly put it in the sacred lands of the giants where their aversion to outsiders alone would protect it."
"The sacred lands are not far off. A mere two days ride by camel over the hills to the North."
DARK RED
Wanderer -
Illyianna does not take kindly to the rejection, perhaps she is not used to men turning down such a simple prospect as a kiss.
"It would do us dishonor to not act on what we both feel..."
And with that she presses upwards.
{Illyianna is going to try to kiss you. Do you truly wish to resist?}
Tyrano, Lief and Horace -
The wind at your faces followed by the stinging thrush of the occasional limp branch does nothing to deter your speed and determination. Horace pounds through the river with Lief and you, consequently, right behind. The waters parts for his massive form and Lief takes advantage and presses in right behind. Seconds later you both emerge, dripping wet but ready to end this chase.
Horace surges with a burst of speed, racing ahead. You only catch a glimpse of him as he charges headlong into the forest. You hear a thunderous cacophony of crashing trees, a cry and the sounds of a struggle. Lief follows into the darkened forest seconds later and you come upon Horace, massive arms wrapped around his mate as the two struggle on the forest floor.
Even in the muted moonlight that barely filters through the trees, you can see Horace's mate looks...possessed. Her eyes are glazed and purposeful, and she struggles despite her love holding her steady. Horace grunts as his mate fights relentlessly, determined to reach some goal you can neither hear nor see.
The two transformed were-creatures wrestle in the night, breaking small saplings with their hooves as they fight. They roll around in the dirt, crushing all manner of small plants with their bulk.
You're unsure of what exactly to do to help and Lief can only stamp his feet in frustration, snorting at the odd scene.
Gildas - {Still running.}
LENNY -
Vorkal's shape distorts, his effort to show displeasure at your voice. The other shadows recoil, fearing their masters' wrath. Vorkals' beady eyes set on them, only for a second, getting a thought from their cowering forms.
Again, Vorkal waves his shadowy hands and the stick begins to move, spelling out the slow words.
Rogue will serve me now, or serve forever in death.
The shadows dance excitedly in the circle, pleased their masters' wrath has been re-directed. Clearly Vorkal speaks of making you a slave, a mindless shadow that has no chance but to do his bidding.
He waits your response...which might just be the last one you're capable of making.
