Matrox will take the Brooch of Shielding if thats ok. That should help protect him from fizzled spells in a battle with a wizard.

Not sure what Giant Control does, but what the hell? I'll take it.
And despite being the last character that can make full use of the Robe of Useful Items, I'm gonna take the necklace of missiles. A stuffy robe would, as I told at, 'cramp Dalien's style'.

I guess that means I get a healing and the cloak of useful items! (now I just need to work out what it does ) Nothing, because : a) You have to be a wizard to use it b) Matrox ran off with it while you wern't watching. Functionally however, the cloak holds a wide variety of randomly determined single use items, that can be pulled out as required. These include bags of gold, healing potions, saddled mules, and self-attaching iron doors. With (really) lucky rolls you could find yourself with a kings ransom in gemstones. With less lucky rolls you could wind up with a half dozen scrolls of Taunt and a window frame.

Well, it can still be his, he can just tell Matrox whenever he wants something out of it. It would be pretty funny. Pulling that stuff out of a robe sounds great.

I can't use the cloak anyway apparently - not a wizard! - but if you get some nice fluffy kittens, they're mine
