With the party mostly non-commital to Lothar's capture, and the crew too scared to make their own move against the man, Lothar sets about pulling off the grappling irons from the side of his boat and politely hanging them on the rigging of the 'Uneven Keel'. "I can't say it was a pleasure to meet you at last," he says, "but the day is certainly turning out better than I thought it would."He casts aside another rope and starts to loosen Shay's lassoo. "I hope my small deterrant didn't do any serious harm. If I'd known you were simple bountyhunters I wouldn't have gone to such extremes in defending myself!"He makes no aggressive move towards you, he is simply freeing his vessel to leave. If you think he knows more, or want your share of the bounty to split between the five of you, you'll have to take some decisive, most likely violent, action to restrain and capture him. If you're willing to let him go, he will do so, and you can return to shore and chase up your next lead on Dragon Mountain elsewhere. Speaking of which, a familiar figure can be seen in the distance on the dock. The Priest has arrived, and he appears to have friends with him.

Goran brings his longbow to bear, aimed on Lothar's heart, "I don't believe you were given permission to leave, yet. What is the verdict, fellows? He could be lieing."

(Shay already accused him of lying, 'guess it wasn't resolved here.)
Shay is with Goran on this one, though he doesn't think that he can backstab with a bow, especially when Lothar is facing him. He pictures himself doing some crazy acrobatics and jumping over to the other boat, landing right behind the lying piece of trash and taking him down with a well placed sword to the spine.
That's what he'd get for wasting Shay's time.
Sure, Dalien looked ready to move on, but they'd spent a lot of money getting this far. To start all over again. . . there was no telling how long that could take and how much it would cost.
"Lothar knows, and if he doesn't know, he's gonna finance our next attempt." is the conclusion that Shay comes to.

Dalien shrugs. "Works for me," and tosses a grappling hook back onto Lothar's boat. He's ready to draw and fight if need be.

"Perhaps Lothar you will come with us? There is no pressing business for you to attend? We should like to question you some then you may go. We insist..."

OOC: OK, are we going to capture him for questioning? If it yields nothing we can always let him go...

(I'll fight him if he's not gonna come peacefully, which he probably won't)
Wouldn't have let him fiddle around with the ropes so easily in the first place.

Crom eyeballs the distance between them, ready to leap over if needs be. He's mildly disappointed that Lothar's goading didn't prompt one of the sorcerers to turn his ship into a funeral pyre, and the thought of association with the guild still troubles him. He spares another glance in the direction of the fallen icebrand. Crom never did like boats.

OOC: Matrox just needs the word and that boat will be on fire quicker than a stolen Nova in a Salford back street
