Crom picks Lothar up by the neck like a stuffed toy and shakes him. Lothar is by no means a small man, and has likely never been treated as anything quite so small and insignificant before. The impact it has on him is evident, even for those not trained in reading people. Lothar turns bright red in the face, and in the face of added vinidcation from Shay, Dalien, and Matrox, can only whimper - his confident arrogance crushed. It's pretty clear he has no map, or anything of use to you. Mel is pleased at the turn of events. "He was just trying to lure you away to his hideout. He has Goblins in his pay, no doubt he thought he could ambush you there with the help of his bandits."When pushed further, Lothar admits it. When Crom puts him down, the man tries in vain to draw his sword and save himself from the justice that has finally chased him down - and Crom delivers him a good beating for his efforts. Lothar lies bleeding into the weathered flooring of the dock. There is little else to do here other than arrange sharing payment for his capture with the crew of the 'Uneven Keel'.

Dalien also notes that there is looting to be done. He decides to check out what valuable possessions Lothar has, under the pretense of removing any weapons.
Though there's really no point to the pretense, since his fellows--and especially Shay--know what Dalien is up to well enough.

{Anybody object to stripping him of his possessions before handing him over to the law?
I'll not deny there is some valuable gear on him if you want it, but it certainly is stealing, no doubt about it.}

Goran says nothing, just glad to have his trusty blade back. But Nimar steps foward and gazes at what possessions he has, "Will he need these at the headmans block?"

"Well, he got those things most likely by illegal means. He could make things difficult for us if we hand him over and he tells the law. It doesnt look good for us to be breaking it. We have no real claim to it...."
Matrox then keeps quiet. He wanted to keep the stuff really, he just felt that something had to be said.

"Whatever, sparky, do what you want. But I'm taking his stuff. And you can back up and wait your turn, henchman."

Shay helps his brother relieve Lothar of any unnecessary burdens, deftly slipping his fingers into pouches and pockets, content to be done with this lying son of a bitch.
Shay removes any spell component pouches, looking for concealed ones. He didn't want this guy to get a chance to cast a spell when backs were turned.
"Go with you to your hideout. That's just as bad as saying, 'Yeah, I'll run home and get it. I promise, I'll be right back'," Shay mutters as he presses his knee into Lothar's back, helping the crew of the ship to bind up the man's hands.
"I don't believe this" Shay finally says, quite defeated, almost ready to stomp a foot on the ground like a child who didn't get his way.
"We're gonna need every cent we can get if we're gonna make up for lost time." Shay is fine with working out getting as much money as he can for the capture of Lothar.
He casts a glance at Lothar, as if giving him one last chance to come out with it and say something before the inevitable happens.

nods at Matrox's words and turns away, having no part in what follows
It's pretty clear Elthar objects to the thievery, but it was a given when the party signed up - and the call of dragon mountain holds his tongue.
