I've got it at home Fangor; until then there's not mcuh I cna do to help. I know the feeling though since I need to look through it myself. We'll see what I can come up with. KMan might have his handy, but for 11k you can buy lots of items on those lists. You might need to be narrowing it down a bit.

OK, to narrow it down, Arms/Wrists or Belt
I will try and save up, if I can't find anything else, for the draconic goggles and wings.

Actually by narrow it down I meant more like "make me better at X" or towards a goal. For 11k you can probably find 30 things on each list; not all of which are helpful fo a caster. (like giving you a plus on swim checks or handle animal or more wisdom or something) The lists by body slot have all types of items. Then each of those items has a listing elsewhere that tells exactly what it does. Sometimes the effect is in the compendium, others in the PHB or DMG or other books. So you're talking about pretty intensive searches for all of a category under X price.
Just FYI. Maybe I can find you on IM this weekend; that will make searching go faster methinks. Then again there's that crappy thing called the telephone (which is just about obsolete). "X sounds interesting..." read description; "perfect" or "crap", move on to next interesting one.

Pearl of Power?

Sorcerors dont prepare spells, so pearl of power is out. Ok, I am looking for things outside of the DMG guide, which I have, and outside of the complete adventurer, complete divine, complete warrior, dmg guide 2, and I think that covers it.
So, anything BESIDES those items in the above books would be good. I am looking for things to boost DC of spells, boost hiding, concentration, arcana knowledge, move silently spellcraft, or anything that would help against dragons in general.
I was looking for NEW items in the book, in the above two slots, that I simply just don't know about.

Isn't there a pearl of power type thing for sorcerers too. I'll check into it if no one else knows what I'm talking about but i could be completely wrong. will get back to you.

Save up for a ring of wizardry! Again, he's not a wizard. But, like I was saying about the sorcerer pearl of power. I don't have the magic compendium yet, but it's in races of Dragon It's called Mimento Magica. It gives the sorcerer or other spontaneous caster one additional slot of spellcasting at the level purchased. In terms of spell levels, it's just like a pearl of power, but the catch is that it costs 50 percent more than the pearl of power at the level purchased.

Not surprisingly Shakes is right. The Memento Magica (in the MIC) allows a slot user (vs preparation) to recall 1 slot per day of the appropriate level. Also the price is 1.5 times pearls of power of the same level.
For instance the 1st level pearl is 1000 gp, whereas a 1st level Memento is 1500 gp.
Good catch Shakes... I'd never even heard of the Memento item. Even with this book in hand I find new and interesting things every time I open it. Looking through it for Fango opened my eyes to many new and interesting items.
Fangor you have your PM. I didn't go through the "tools" list (where things like the memento are located); there are 5 1/2 pages of items under 11k. I just don't have the time for such an undertaking.
If you can't buy it, I'd atleast go peruse it for a while at your local book store or hobby shop. There's a ton of crap in this book that may or may not be useful per the eyes of the beholder. If you find something that you like; I can provide a copy of the description.
