{The nostril is a small chimney exit about eighty feet from the ground. There is no path leading into it, the best you can manage is rough hand/footholds that allow for the climb check. Essentially, there is a earthen ramp leading to the mouth of the face, but a chasm of rock seperates the fortress from the mound and so one must climb from the bottom of the chasm up. Hope that helps.
Honesly, Sean's plan isn't that bad and I will allow it to work. I didn't want this to be a huge hinderance, just a mild nussiance which you've overcome. I'll use Sean's plan to get in.}
Using the information provided by the guard, you make your way towards the massive fortress of Bazarkrak. The great visage of the Dwarf towers above the village, a great chasm of rock seperating the only drawbridge from the only entrance...at least that most know of. You slowly make your way down and around, into the chasm below the fortress. There, it is a short distance to be directly beneath the face and you can start to climb quickly into the hidden path. More earthwquakes shake the chasm walls, causing small cascades of rock to crumble down.
You eventually reach the designated spot beneath the smoking entrance and Sean summons a beastial insect to help in your climb. The monstrous centipede appears seconds later. A moment after that and all those within range of the creature disappear. Hanging onto the creature, each other and what footholds you can, you ascend into the leering face of the fortress. The creature climbs at an amazing speed and within a minute you are well within reach of the carved nostril lip. Waving off the smoke, you push inside and crawl into the fortress.
The smoke chokes, but does not overwhelm. A cloth held across the face allows you to breath normally, though your eyesight is nearly halved in the hazy cramped tunnel. Once you are inside and the sounds of the revelry outside have diminished, you note the distinct clang of sword and shield from deeper in the tunnel...the sounds of battle. Another earthquake rumbles the great mountain, accompanied by a flash of light barely visible in the haze.
About a fifty feet ahead and down in the tunnel you would guess...and you'll be at the sound of the noise.

The mention of a hidden attacker in the dunes gives Amassu momentary pause. His eyes dart this way and that, trying to find what you speak of. [Spot Check] He keeps his gaze to the edges of the dunes, yet does not settle on the creature you have barely caught glimpses of. The Sky-King remains visibly arrogant yet he does not seem to see the creature of which you have casually mentioned.
One of the Sand Giants finally speaks after what seems like an eternity of tension. When they speak, their common is perfectly formed leading to you believe they are intelligent creatures.
"Amassu demands our loyalty and patronage. We do not recognize him as king!"
Another chimes in, his voice equally well formed yet disdainful. "Amassu did not win the games fairly, we will not pay hommage to an underhanded dog!"[/b]
This last comment just about sets Lord Amassu off. The Sky-King brings his mace up and slings it over his shoulder as though he would swing it a moments notice. Angry, Lord Amassu sneers a retort.
"Your words will be your undoing. None have contested my victory, save you, and none from your tribe competed."
"They do not contest because those that competed are dead!"[/b] The same sand giant quips which earns a round of nods from the others.
One of their numbers looks to you and comments. "We will not bow to his will, death or no."[/b]

[Search/Listen Checks] The trap door appears bolted from the inside. Not a difficult thing to pass mind you, but enough to slow you down if you're in a hurry. In addition, you hear the pacing footsteps of a heavily armored person inside. You also hear muffled voices and shouts from within, leading you to believe that reinforcements of some kind are being gathered and lead towards the front. The figure below paces angrily, frustrated they are not allowed to join in the fray...

Tyrano charges Thalia's backside, leaving a wound across the small of her back that she cannot ignore. [Attack Results = hit, Damage Results = 9] The Elf looks worried, not expecting the tactic to be used on her. She looks about ready to run at a moments' notice.
Wanderer does not give her that chance. He lays into her with the massive maul, cracking bone and battering flesh. [Attack results = 2 hits 1st drops her to 1, 2nd drops her to -24] The first blow spins Thalia about on her heels, her jaw hanging limply from being cracked mostly open. Blood flows freely from her mouth as she twirls, spraying the cobblestone streets. Just as she regains her balance, the second blow knocks her limply hanging jaw clean through the roof of her mouth as collapses backwards in a heap of dead flesh. There are two quiet shudders, then nothing more from the treacherous Elf.
If you have cleave, you can 5ft and cleave into #2. I'll let you roll that.
Gildas charges across the darkened streets, bringing his blade to bear on the wounded Deathspeaker. [Attack Results = hit, Damage results = 19] The sword cuts through hardened steel plate, releasing a torrent of crimson blood all over the symbol of 'The Master'. A fitting blow for an agent of evil!
The Death-Speakers retaliate. The first Deathspeaker withdraws his mace and spins on Gildas, the second brings forth his holy symbol of The Master in an attempt to stop Gildas Cold.
