In no mood to waste time, and sure enough of his swift judgement to snuff out the man's life upon it - Crom batters the man dressed in black to a messy pulp. Torden's powerful blows crumple the wizard's fragile body, which subsequently slumps broken to the floor, and begins it's slow, yet heavy outpouring of dark, crimson blood.
Old Cud scrabbles across the floor to a large open chest, heaves himself inside, still coughing and choking, and slams the lid closed ontop of himself. His coughs rattle the chest on the wooden floorboards of the store's floor.
Crom is attacked by an unseen adversary. Guttural screams cry out as sharp talons and strong jaws flail madly against the Northman's armour, searching, crushing, struggling to taste flesh. Crom smirks .. knowing the rancid stench of Troll breath anywhere ..
Attack #1: 13-[dice=20]=hit AC(Threat). Attack #2: 13-[dice=20]=hit AC(-6). Attack #3: 13-[dice=20]=hit AC(7).
Threat conversion: 13-[dice=20]=normal damage.
Both claw attacks find flesh for [dice=4][dice=4]+8=(14) damage[rand=9924782474607499702440306024259176230408764180018478348647040068]

Crom looks up from the broken mage, searching the room for more adversaries, but seeing only the scrabbling cud. Something was amiss ... a smell that Crom remembers ... As the Troll lurches for Crom he ducks, wheeling around as the mage's blood flies from Torden, splattering across the room. The barbarian knows no mercy for those who would not face him head on, and throws himself into the creature with a cold fury. Barbarian class back attack detection (55%) The book is in my desk at work so I don't know if I need to roll seperately for each strike or once for all (though I think it's the former). I'll check on monday.
Rule clarification - for each successful rear attack detected (55 or less) the damage is negated and Crom gets a single free swing with anything he's holding. Attacking barbarians from behind is just a bad idea ;D
[dice=100]Crom ducks the first attack, the troll's claws grazing him as he turns, and backhands with hammer[dice=20]Hit -14 [dice=100]Swinging around, knocking the second blow aside[dice=20]Hit -7 [dice=100]As both fighters are pushed apart by the melee, neither striking this last time.
The Crom retaliates (full attack) [dice=20]Torden -18 [dice=20]Torden -10 [dice=20]Unarmed punch -14, adjusted to 'haymaker'
In a display of truly terrifying power Crom blows the troll through the front wall of the shop in a shower of wood and stone, leaping through the debris in pursuit.
Definite damage - [dice=4][dice=4][dice=4][dice=4][dice=4][dice=4][dice=3] 12 + 87 = 99 damage (plus another potential 2d4+25)
And since Crom is using an active hammer of thunderbolts the troll is struck instantly dead three (or four) times over.
Crom'll burn it (or rather what's left of it) with his magical torch, just to make sure. Let Shay have some fun chasing down Lothar. Edit - after checking the rules for barbarian back protection, the Troll's first hit still connects for a total of 7 damage before he is struck stone dead by Torden.[rand=454167295401315420593391577760905757564170311758236129323699808413]
