Crom has little trouble finding his unseen adversary, using both its terrible breath and furious up close assault to pinpoint its location, Torden does the rest. The Troll flickers back into sight as it lays dying on the floor of the store. Crom drags it out into the street and burns it, watched by a growing crowd of gasping onlookers from the local village.
Inside the store, Shay keeps a close eye on the corpse of the magic worker while holding Lothar at bay in a corner of the shop with the sharper end of his sword. The creep looks in no state of bravery to make a dash for it after Crom's exemplary display.
Old Cud slowly stops coughing and gasping in the chest, and falls silent, perhaps hoping all the bad people have left his store and forgotten about him, and his soul - or atleast, if he stays quiet, maybe he will be forgotten about...

Once Crom's work is done outside, he will stand at the shop's entrance with arms crossed, tollerating no foolishness from any still stand within as he looks on with steely eyes.
(Shay has the shard and the honour of dealing with Lothar)

Very unhappy about missing his backstab, Shay keeps his eyes and his longsword trained on Lothar.
"You're a liar, I called it right to your face," Shay says, wishing that his companions would think better of his instincts from time to time. "You're a coward too, coming here and beating up a scared and defenseless old man."
"What're you doing here? Looking for the shard? Well, you're too late. We have it, and we know exactly where the mountain is. And now that you're not even worth a dime to us, there's nothing stopping us from doing with you what we should've done in the first place," Shay explains to Lothar, glancing momentarily outside in Crom's direction.
In so threatening Lothar's worthlessness and thus, his life, Shay hopes to extract from the man some piece of useful information or something else which Lothar may offer up in order to stay alive.
