SEA GREEN
All Others -
King Dolster looks to Gro-Bug first, addressing his questions. "Aye, they asked for support in the war against an invading army of terrible power. And yes, they asked about a bone, a bone clad entirely in copper."
"They found th 'bone deep in our catacombs. I allowed them to th' bone for all they had done. They have it now."
The Dwarven Liege rubs his forehead in frustration. "They spoke of much of th' same troubles...they even mentioned this 'Master'. They said they needed th' bone to prevent terrible atrocities."
Dolsters' face grows grim. "Did I allow th' bone to slip into the wrong hands or do ye have th' same agenda?"
In response to Ella, the King can only nod. "Aye, Garor Skullspliter. He does lie in the catacombs beneath this very mountain. Th' Tertians sought his tomb as well and they found th' bone resting in it."
Lastly, in response to Sean, he speaks authoritatively. "Th' Dwarves are always ready for war, in fact, we feel uncomfortable outside of battle. Th' scouts I had sent are due back any day now and I'll know how soon we march to war...."
"But th' story of these bones perplexes me. What is their meaning?"
-----------------------------------
Natsumi -
Amassu rises and allows the cloth to fall from his waist, leaving the formerly massive cloud giant naked in the night air. He takes your extended hand and motions towards the interior of the cloud chariot.
"It will be a greater reward to give you pleasure, pleasure which you so richly deserve. Come."[/b]
He tugs gently, indicating what he desires.
DARK RED[/size]
All -
{The warehouse appeared to be a simple merchant warehouse. Common goods like torches, flints, fabric and some spices. Nothing exotic or exceptionally noteworthy.}
The man is visibly wounded, the result of a few blows that were not pulled. However, they are not beyond covering up...at least for the simple task of taking this unconscious man to the upper city and back to the Temple of St. Cuthbert and to Dartius for questioning. If you remove his armor, weapons and gear that denotes him as an agent of 'The Master'...it should leave nothing but a disheveled man in dirty clothes.
{I will just need a Disguise Check, up to three can aid.}
A long time ago, back when Natsumi shocked us all by offering to trade her personal services for the shard, I mentioned that we would be leveling up as soon as we came to a lull or an appropriate time. Now is that time.
As is customary with this game, everyone in both parties can take their two levels now. Please PM me or post questions about unusual level-up stuff (cohorts, artifacts, PrC's etc). Other than that, get it done when you have time and we'll hopefully get up to steam when the holidays are over.

Gro-Bug fidgets a bit before answering the king...he knew things may already be too late "My lord, the bones were once of a warrior known to Garor Skull Splitter. I do not quite understand their meaning only that we were asked to recover them by an old comrade of Garor's....a wizard name Caelith. It would seem our next journey lies in finding these Tertians and discovering what they know......or perhaps the wizard should be made aware...."

Eeeeek! How can we bard our way out of this one?
Quick question. . . Just as a memory refresher, where are the places that we believe that the bones are. Also, what is the status of the locations insofar as Natsumi knows. I remember the wizard said something about believing a bone was on some island where troops were heading, and there was some other place, I could be wrong though. If it's not a problem, could someone fill me in so I'm on the right path.

I'll level tomorrow, but for now I think I can help a little for Shakes.
The island is Skaland (I believe), where the lizard people are; and yes, there is rumored to be a bone there. Same place the master's troops were supposed to be heading; maybe its time to find out what this place is about.
(between the teams) Garor's bone we have (dwarves), Krysta's bone we have (purest star), Girud's bone we have (giants), unknown we have (roc riders), unknown we have (Tertians), yuexel have the skull.
Characters that survived and might have a bone: Adelia (story placed her with Krysta and then the hidden city), Alton (with Girud, but then to the hidden city), yuri (didnt know where they were hidden, though may have kept a piece), Mordrock (wasn't there a university at New Ravenshead by his name?).
Shakes, I'd just roll with it if I were you. It's her profession afterall and she did put herself into his service. That's all I've got for now. Oh, I'd better post too. Suddenly concerned about the Tertians having taken the bone, Emma hardly hears what the king says next. It was a question, best not leave it hanging in the air. "Truth be told Majesty, I was not aware there were other agents of good seeking these artifacts also. This news troubles me, for I do not know where their allegiances lie; but if they are enemies of the Mater, then perhaps they are allies of ours. This warrants further investigation." Thinking a moment about their current position and the king they've only just met Ella gives a pointed look to her companions and speaks on. "This tale is not to be shared lightly sire, but if you would prefer to discuss it a little more privately, we may be able to lend some light to the situation." The delay would provide her allies the opportunity to decide how much they need to share and whether or not this king and the people he surrounded himself with were to be trusted with the full details of their mission. They would also have the chance to discuss what the Tertians meant to their mission. Were these men allies, or puppets that would need to be destroyed in their own time?

I'm cursed and Sean is blinded. I dont fancy trying to cut my way through the master's troops like that

Sheesh (my own teammate). . . I think if you were a girl you'd make a lot of boys very happy. Actually, Natsumi's profession isn't "whore." It's pretty clear in her character description. I think it's understood that she's offered her "services" as a bard. But she's a hottie, so you can't really blame the guy I guess. . .
--------------- --------------- ---------------
Natsumi averts her eyes as Amassu stands naked before her. Though it was a sight not unfamiliar to her, for she had seen him bathe and dress before, it was different now as he stood not as a giant but in this new form and took her hand into his with intentions which simultaneously angered, frightened, and pleased Natsumi.
Taking a deep breath, Natsumi attempts to relax her tensed nerves and allows Amassu to lead her inside, intertwining her fingers with his as they walk.
As they enter the interior she looks to Amassu with a soft expression, her dark eyes scanning him respectfully and her painted lips protruding in a slight pout.
(She will allow him some actions to make certain that it is she whom he is truly after, and if so, she will speak and act as follows. If he has something else in mind, let me know so she can take actions accordingly. for now we'll assume the most obvious course.)
"I take great delight in the promise within the words of My Lord, but I must not be lead to forget my responsibility." Natsumi places a hand upon Amassu's shoulder.
"From me, My Lord requires poetic praise and distinguished entertainment. It would be my joy to dance for him, to have his eyes search the movements of my body from this new vantage. To know that he truly approves, that I am worthy of his embrace."
Natsumi moves closer to him, hoping that he will allow her to get her way.
--------------- If he lets her dance, her goal is to Fascinate him (more flavor than anything) so that he will be more geared toward listening to what she will have to say next.
If you want to roll stuff with some molidic accompanyment Her DC will be [dice=20](10)+21= DC 31 will save opposes
If he doesn't let her do her thing, I guess you'll let me know next post.[rand=457013596424834313043519025491841367754320826631343283551771398526]

Wanderer grunts, looking for the injured fellow. "He's in better shape than I am, Gildas. I don't think we'll have a problem making him look the part." And so he sets about stripping the Master's trappings off the man, so the he merely looks like a delerious, disoriented man--though perhaps one who's been in a brawl. He does make it a point to keep the Master's symbol, for the benefit of the clerics.
After this, it is just a matter of getting to the clerics and hoping to settle this matter. The Deathspeakers must surely know something of why the rest of the world has lost divine magic.

Lenny 'Aid Another' [dice=20]+0
Making a few changes, Lenny simply shrugs, and says, "That's gonna have to do. You three head up the street. I will follow behind. Should you arouse suspicion, I will make a scene, and you three get him to the clerics."
Lenny then takes the scene in, and wonders if there are wandering eyes. Especially those two roof top enemies they left. He will make sure they aren't being followed.[rand=8374711957092793970270525702944139326746325159934662678615455019]

Sorry if that sounded bad, it wasn't intended in any derogatory way. It was my impression that she was a courtesan, which usually (historically speaking) involves a little hanky-panky. I certainly don't mean to infer that all women folk should be easy, nor that they are objects to be had. That's terribly old fashioned thinking and way out of line. I'm just saying that when he saw Natsumi first, and offered to trade the bone for her... I don't think he had a herald's or negotiator's job description in mind. Just my two bits.

(of bards and hoes) Yes, courtesans are prostitutes, but no, she's not a courtesan. She's a bard, more along the lines of a professional entertainer or geisha (who were not simply classy prostitutes contrary to popular belief) According to the ultimate plan of making it through this alive and potentially getting his help in the quest, yes, she wants him to desire her, but if she gives him what he wants, she loses any advantage she might have. So in essence, she's gotta be a tease. These are tumultuous times. You've gotta do what you've gotta do in the name of plot progression. Of course, KMan could always have someone kick in the door, but it's likely not going to happen when we're trapped up in the sky.

Haha, that's hilarious! I can imagine that on the cover of an epic tale if ever there was one! ;D
Aid another check to help disguise: [dice=20] (with that roll, I'm not even gonna bother looking up the modifiers.)
Gildas now agreed to the plan as laid down, and helped the others in covering up anything suspicious on the deathspeaker, among which was, of course, his weaponry and symbol, and the most terrible of his wounds. He nods at Lenny's proposal to lag behind, and then lifts the body and starts moving, hoping that the guards of a huge city like New Ravenshead were less indifferent to such scenes than he knew the stern but just guards of Tertia were.[rand=9458145037504686444225219794652071962748161920395720213723336731765]

(Ruining a good dice trend) [Why are you bastards with the awesome rolls just making aid another checks? You're just leaving it for me to ruin with a 2 or something.] Disguise Check @ +0: [dice=20] Total: 7, or 11 with Aid Another. Tyrano, a bit out of his element, nevertheless tries to pitch his hand into covering the identity of our new 'informant.' He starts by placing his own wide-brimmed hat upon the deathspeaker...
Aid Another... [dice=20]
He now looks like a wounded Death-Speaker wearing a wide brimmed hat.
Tyrano takes his hat back not having liked the idea of sharing it to begin with. Turning to Lenny, he says, "Perhaps you should be taking the lead with this one."[rand=00051270865983926729444859411918685425420010896899349886221569144413]
