The online dice roller went caput on my PC last night. So, instead I'll just use Invisible castle. I figured TopTomCat will be doing the same, so I didn't think it would be an issue.

Physical Description
Tommi is about average height for a gnome (3'5") with blackish brownish hair that tends to stand on end all on it's own. He sees the world through dark little prairie dog-like eyes tinged around the edges with a deep red. He wears a dark brown leather jacket inlaid with fur that is obviously very old. And it tends to smell a little musty since he doesn't wash it very often. His default expression is a sort of wry thoughtful face with furrowed eyebrows and a crooked mouth. He's quick to smile though, being a gnome, and has a satirical sense of humor. His smile is crooked too, though. Perhaps it belies a bit of crookedness within.
Background
Often in families, younger siblings have a difficult time living up to the oldest sibling's precedent. For Nib Gibbons, this was not the case. He was a prodigy amongst his peers, truly gifted in the arcane arts. From a very tender age, practically still a toddler, he had the basics of simple illusion down to a science. His antics with ventriloquism spells kept his mother and father running in circles. He is truly a savant and will most certainly go far in his life.
Nib Gibbons will not be taking part in this story, however; that is the part of his older brother, Tomble. Tommi was very clever in his own right, more clever than most in fact. It's just that when your younger brother is a genius, you begin to lose interest in academic achievement, because no matter how you do, you're only going to be compared to him. Then you're bound to fall short. Soon Tomble Gibbons was just another troubled youth, intelligent but misguided. His parents made him go see the clan counselor who made him talk about it constantly, which didn't make him feel better.
Nib fell quickly into the world of illusion. Tommi had excelled at illusion as well, but in an attempt to distance himself from his young rival, he specialized in evocation (not the most subtle of magic's, but easily the most cathartic). Soon he earned the nickname 'Sparks' for his constant pranks than almost always ended in someone frantic to put out a fire. Tommi was almost expelled on several occasions much to the delight of Nib. He wasn't, however, at least not until graduation day. An ill-timed joke involving a magical fireball bead singed several of the young graduates' expensive robes and sent academics running in every direction.
Tommi was denied his wizard status in the gnomish community where he grew up. He is a wizard nonetheless. You can't take away the experience and knowledge that makes a wizard. Oh sure, they made him turn in his spell components, but he just replaced them later. His spellbook? "Burned in the fire," he told them. Now he's on the road, forsaking his old clan and especially that little **** Nibs.
He's out to do all those things that wizards do. Starting in that old logging town nearby
